I wish I could view my own stats and character info so I don’t have to go to a doctor and do multiple tests so I can get a diagnosis.
I spend my entire life with a bunch of debuffs and special rules I don't understand until I learn that it isn't normal. Now I have to go on side quests to figure out why I'm like this while balancing the main plot.
Sure, I could just deal with it on my own, but what if the side quests give me a new tool that will make the plot easier or even unlock new routes?!
Okay I had this thought a while ago. Welcome to demon school is like prime Vampire AU material.
Just replace demons with vampires, throw them into a Victorian setting and go to town!
I ... may have already started writing. ...
So I just spent a few hours hashing this out.
So I haven't stopped fixating on Welcome to Demon School since I first discovered it, but I don't know anyone else whos into it. Which sucks because I have no one to ramble or show off my drawings to that actually cares. So I'm going to have to scream into the void so I don't explode.
Ahem. Spoiler warning if you don't read the manga, or haven't gotten past the Heartbreaker Exam.
I came up with this idea a while ago. When the big Deviculam chapters were just getting started I was sure that Iruma was getting human-napped and experimented on. What we actually got makes more sense I guess but I officially hate Baal because of it.
Anywho. The little plot line I had in my head was that Iruma was going to get put in a science tube so they could suck up all Derkila's mana. However, it backfires and it causes Iruma/Ali to have an awakening of sorts. I assume that if Iruma loses Derkila's mana he also loses Ali, and they can't have that.
So in order to protect themselves they unlock a new ability earlier than they would have if not for the dire situation at hand. This ability allows Ali to behave like Kalego's Cerberus in a way. He's essentially possessing Iruma's body without controlling him. He also gets a big scary monster form. They also share an eye. Iruma's right iris turns black, through it he and Ali can see what each other sees. If Iruma closes that eye it shuts off the link until he opens it again. This state also grants Iruma all the enhanced senses of a demon, and the ability to sense how much mana he and Ali have, as well as absorb it from others by touching them. Ali can also move further away from Iruma without getting yeeted.
This makes them the perfect tag team! Ali is a powerful all-arounder with access to a wide array of magic spells, great speed, and strength. Meanwhile, Iruma can line up a shot with his bow from a safe distance. Plus with the ability to steal mana, they can theoretically keep fighting for a long time. Ali doesn't seem to ever get tired, and Iruma is using less energy by being the long-range fighter. They can keep going until Iruma gets tired or both they and their opponent run out of mana.
I also imagine that Kirio wouldn't leave Iruma alone much once he was in his clutches. So he'd probably be the one to discover this rather interesting development. Ali would then proceed to wreck him.
I also imagine that after being experimented on the kid has a few screws loose. Iruma's a sweet boy, and I love him for it, but I also really want to see him go feral. I think it'd be hilarious for the Six Fingers to be freaking out because he and Ali are just sneaking around in the shadows picking them off one by one.
Then, when all everything is settled and Sullivan, Opera and the rest are looking for him. Iruma just pops out of nowhere with this big old shadow thing hanging around him. Iruma's just happy to be back with his family but everyone else is screaming internally because they have no idea what happened.
Maybe they wouldn't actually be that strong. I don't want them to seem OP.
This idea kinda evolved from Iruma and Ali just straight up fusing with each other, which I consider like a step up from this.
Iruma&Ali battle mode:
Lv. 1 Basically Tokoyami from MHA, or Kalego but spooky.
Lv.2 Alima. (I did draw them but that was a while ago.)
Okay. I'm done now. :P
My sister called the tern table in a microwave a spinnie plate.
My response was to say 'spinnie plate go round and round.'
And she said round and round right back. Which made her think that it sounded like a greeting or a solute.
Which in turn made me think that if the earth was flat it would be like the spinnie plate in a microwave. So now I have the idea of a flat microwave world in my head where people say stuff like 'spinnie plate go round and round.'

Someone needs to invent a cold microwave to make things cold fast. Microfeezer.
Today was supposed to be a relaxing day. Spent watching YouTube videos and drawing. Instead I woke up and my body chose violence.
When I was in high school one of my teachers had the completely sane and brilliant idea of having us run a race in the classroom.
The room had big desks that we couldn't move out of the way so we just had to weave between them. Teenager me got bored easily, so I was stoked that we'd be spending the period doing fun stuff.
We ran the race in groups and when my group was up I stood at the start line doing the Cars intro monologue in my head. The teacher gave us the signal and I was off!
Tripping over something immediately and sliding across the floor and into the side of one of those desks which were built like cabinets. I was fine, but I did get a nasty bruise on my knee. I laughed, everyone laughed and asked if I was okay.
Despite my spectacular display of klutzyness the rest of the race went off without a hitch.
This is only one of a handful of instances brought on by my major lack of coordination. I was a very clumsy kid lol.
So I keep finding shinies completely by accident in Pokemon Violet.
I have:
A male Oinkologne, found as a Lachonk in SP area one as I was running around looking for a Slackoth. This was at the beginning of my playthrough so I kept him on my team for a while.
A Bisharp from NP area two. I level up in the bamboo forest a lot.
Which is also how I got a Scyther that I didn't even realize was shiny until I ran into her.
I decided I wanted a shiny Dratini that I hunted for with sandwich power, but I ended up with three of them.
A Fletchling that poped up next to the Pokemon Center in Sp area one right after I caught the three Dratini.
A Spoink I found in the cliffs of NP area two while running around. She has the Cloudy mark.
A Lokix I found in the same area not long after Spoink.
And two Maschiff, one from WP area two, found as I was running around, and one from Socrarrat Trail, found as I was hatching eggs.
I do have the shiny charm, but that wasn't until after I already had the Oinkologne and the Bisharp.
I've always had odd luck with shinies, but it used to only manifest when Wonder Trading in X and Y.
Now If only I can get one of these Fenniken eggs to give me a shiny.
UPDATE:
I just got a Toadscool.
I DON'T WANT THIS BLACK AND WHITE MUSHROOM GIVE ME THE GRAY FIRE FOX!
GUYS I JUST DISCOVERED THAT YOU CAN DRAG THE CREATE ICON AROUND ON MOBLE AND THERS A TRAIL OF OTHER ICONS THAT FOLLOW IT AROUND.
FRICK YES!
BUILT IN FIDGET TOY!

Okay, so random monologue about Welcome To Demon School Iruma-kun.
If you don't know the show it's an anime, and the mc Iruma is a very unfortunate human boy who's sold to a demon by his dumb parents. Plot twist, this turns out to be the best thing to ever happen to him as the demon he was sold to adopts him as his grandson and spoils him like crazy.
Plot synopsis out of the way, Iruma totally has some kind of binge eating disorder right? I'm not sure if I should call this a theory or a headcanon. Also, keep in mind I know little to nothing about eating disorders.
One of Iruma's little quirks is that, despite being a very tiny boi, he can eat. Like my man probably eats well over his own body weight daily. For most of his life, he was surviving on his own, completely independent. He had to scavenge for whatever food he could get his hands on. Even if it was just grass! (Can a human even survive on just wild plants?) It's clearly stated that, because of this, Iruma has a survivalist mentality when it comes to food.
Any opportunity to eat should be taken, and he needed to eat as much as possible to keep himself going.
(Like the second episode I think if we're sighting sources.)
After he's adopted Iruma is free to eat as much as he wants. After all his grandfather is probably super extra loaded. He could probably afford to fill a public swimming pool with caviar. Now, being a big eater is a common quirk among anime characters, but it's usually just used for laughs or just a character trait. In Iruma's case, this habit of his has an actual effect on him.
In the beginning, everyone is impressed by whatever hammerspace that must exist in Iruma's stomach. He's like 5'1" and considering his past life very thin, but he can eat 50 servings from the school cafeteria. However, things start to change as his first year at Bablys demon school comes to an end.
During the Harvest Festival, Iruma's survival instincts are reawakened and he falls back on old habits. He and Lied use some of the ingredients they gather early on for food because Iruma knows they'll need to pace themselves and keep their strength up. He intended to leave some to use for points but gets carried away and eats everything. Then at the beginning of the Music Festival Arc Purson rats him out for snacking in class, and during The Misfit's Wild Party, Clara comments that Iruma has gained weight.
After these events, we see three things happen.
Iruma starts to think negatively about his eating habits. After the Music Festival Ameri takes him to a fancy restaurant. After they've eaten and she leaves to talk to the staff Iruma thinks to himself that he ate too much. (He doesn't really try to change his habit though.)
Iruma has become self-conscious about his weight. When Clara comments on it he denies it and tries to escape her teasing. During his check-up with Professor Balam he gets an unhappy look on his face when he mentions Iruma's weight but relaxes and smiles when Balam says it's within the healthy range.
Clara and Azz start monitoring his eating habits and prevent him from snacking at school. Clara does give in to him at times, and Iruma hides his snacks like a chipmunk and sneaks off so he can eat without disruption. (Opera also denies Iruma dessert at dinner after he ate a ton of sweets with Batchco earlier that day. An effort was made.)
I think that it would make a lot of sense for Iruma to have some kind of eating disorder after how he grew up in the human world. It would also be another facet of all the trauma his parents caused him that Iruma will need to confront.
(Honestly, Mr. and Mrs. Suzuki were dumb. How are they still alive? Please let them show back up just so Iruma can go off on them. Better yet sick Azz and Clara on them, the whole Misfit Class, the Student Council, the teachers, Opera, the Thirteen Crowns. Everyone gets a turn! Heck let me take a crack at em!)
Okay, that's all I got uhhhhhhhhhhhh bye.
I desire to share my wisdom.
Beef-flavored ramen noodles.
Add oven-roasted turkey breast lunch meat, cut into strips.
Then add preferred amount of soy sauce.
Cook or microwave as normal.
I have this cute little desk chair thing (?) but it doesn't have a backrest. I love it, but it kills my spine. Sooooo I use it as a table. It works well even if it's plush and it's big enough to hold a decent amount of stuff.
8/10 would recommend.
Sometimes... I'm bored... but nothing I do is good enough to entertain me. So I just run in circles looking for the one thing that will maintain my attention for more than five seconds.
If I was any kind of classic monster I'd be a vampire, hands down. However, I'd be a miserable vampire because I hecking love garlic!
