What are your thoughts on Maruki’s reality/actualization of the team, Becuase I’ve found it fertile ground for Akira angst

First of all, thank you so much, that's such a kind thing to say!

Second of all, P5R has so much angst potential, it's insane. I love it. I have so many fic ideas but I really want to get through all my vanilla P5 fic ideas first, as I'm way more familiar with OG P5 (I've only played through Royal once, but have replayed P5 many times!). But, as for your question, I'm obsessed with Maruki's reality and how much Akira just...doesn't fit. Everyone is happy with their friends and families, so why would they need Akira? Why would they have even met?

It drives me crazy because of how much of a home he provided for the PT, especially for the founding members, (especially Ann and Ryuji in particular as the trio are kindred spirits who found a home with each other), and how jarring the reality is. It's like he's been discarded overnight. I can't imagine how it would feel for him, having a large group of friends who are ride or die for you for months on end and the next morning, they just don't need you. They barely remember how they met you, what they have in common with you, and why you're bothering them when you're busy with your friends or family, especially the latter in Haru and Futaba's case.

I do wish the time before the PT snapped out of it had been longer in-game, just to feel the extent of how lonely that must have been, and for the player to have their social calendar and text messages completely empty after a year of it being full with nonstop invitations. The PT's apologies would have felt more earned, if that makes sense?
