mad bitch hours

its soooo hard to try and cope by turning off your brain and watching a show or something because unfortunately i cant turn off shit im a hater till the end. like yes i want to ignore my feelings and stuff but i cant even properly get absorbed in fiction because like. they re just letting anyone write anything these days. i dont knoooow i dont mean to be a hater i love art more than anything but fr i cant, do creators realize anymore that art has a meaning and themes and for every text there's a meta dimension and they gotta fucking do something intentional with that meta otherwise art just becomes an overproduced mess with no coherent subtextual structure with a massive budget and pretty visuals IM GONNA GO INSANE I WANNA WATCH A GOOD SHOW MADE WITH INTENTIONALITY AGAIN. there's only so much good acting or good directing or good music or whatever can do when the writing reads like the creators did not realize that a story has to be more than made up events happening to made up characters. like please you gotta have a fucking reason to make up said events and said characters but i swear to god so much shit these days feels like it's written with the sole philosophy of "wouldn't it be neat if this happened?". and it's like no actually i don't care for this trend of every piece of art being just a random shallow vignette with no coherent substance :/
