The  brunettes  response  was  enough  for  Caroline  to  realise  which  doppleganger  was  standing  in  front  of  her. With  a  roll  of  her  eyes  the  blonde  huffed,  sending  a  glare  Katherine’s  way. “First  of  all,  gross. Second  of  all,  why  are  you  here?”

“Oh please.” Katherine rolled her chocolate hues, “Don’t pretend you wouldn’t find some thrill in a little public action.” Katherine didn’t strike Caroline as the dull type of person. “I have some unfinished business.” She answered with a rise of her shoulder.

    “Personal issues and circumstances. “ Davina replied vaguely . “ Small town like this , as boring as it is , I’m trying to give the benefit of the doubt and hopefully the mood gets better the more I see it . What about you ? “

A shoulder rose, between New Orleans and Mystic Falls she couldn’t decipher who had the most supernatural drama. “It’ll liven up.” She’s seen this town in all of it’s festivities, and if she were being honest with herself years and years ago, she considered this town to be her home. Katerina would easily admit to it, Katherine though? Not a chance. “I’ve been everywhere, I don’t really stay in one place too long. Though I keep coming back here for whatever reason.”

everything  that  could  go  wrong  over  the  summer  .  .  went  wrong  .  stefan  was  a  ripper   and  klaus  had  full  access  to  his  werewolf  side  .   a  hybrid  .   and  to  make  matters  worse  ,   elena  blood  was  the  key  to  making  his  hybrids   .    there   was  no  prayer  to  god  that  could  save  them  .     it  was  just  him  ,   the   reckless  brother  .              but  he  was  far  from  a  savior  .    no  ,   that  role   was  meant  for  his  brother  stefan  .  [  yet  ]  ,  fate  had  his  younger  brother  under  the  control  of   klaus   .    lips   pressed  against   the  glass   that  held  the  sweet  ,   bitter  ,  poison  .    the   liquid   ran  pass   his   tongue   ,  a  burning  sensation  followed   as  he  numb  the  feelings  he  had  for  his  brother’s  girl .    damon  used  the  silence  in  the  room  to   play  out   scenarios  in  hopes  to  find  something   to  take  klaus  down   .   however  ,  the  chances   of   him  surviving   was  slim  .    but  then  again  ,  if  there  was  only  one  chance  an  a  million  that  they  would  win ,   he  would  take  those  odds  for elena  .  his  life  an  exchange  for  the  gilbert  girl  was  a  sacrifice  he  was  willing  to  make  .      [  yet ]  the  thought  of  losing  her  sent  a  pulse  of  rage  through  his  veins  before  the  glass  shattered  into   pieces   in  the  palm  of  his  hand   .      ❛   what  do  you  want  ?   ❜  he  questioned  .  damon  had  heard  a  sound  near  the  corridors  but  his  eyes  stayed  glued  to  the  flames  that  danced  around  inside  the  fireplace  .

She was so close to her freedom, so close to being able to stop running and finally start living. She could almost taste her freedom and everything she could do with it, but one major thing stood in her way. Klaus was still alive. She woke Mikael up, which could work for her or against her ; hell, even both. But either way, when it came down to it. Katherine and the mystic falls gang all wanted the same thing. Klaus gone. The sound of shattering glass clued her in that Damon wasn’t in the mood, which seemed to be typical of him yet the doppelganger wasn’t phased by it in the slightest. Instead, she furthered into the house easily finding Damon’s stash and poured herself a drink. “What I’ve always wanted, Damon.” A simple answer, “Though now, I’m one step closer to getting it.” A smile of victory to herself as she took a drink.

    “Kind of makes me miss new orleans .” She replied as she looked around before eyes landed on the vampire . “—But I guess i’ll make due .” After all , new orleans wasn’t exactly safe for her at the moment . 

“Ah the hustle and bustle of New Orleans.” Katherine loved the place, though she didn’t stay in one place for too long as she was always on the run. New Orleans however, was one of the places she’s visited on more than one occasion. “What made you decide to move from there to here?” The two were nothing alike, and if she wanted fun she made the wrong choice of leaving.

the brunette was trying to decide on a dress, her brows knit into a line as she hummed at the choices, her long olive toned fingers brush over the few selected dresses. ❝ i’m not really sure which of these is me, you know? ❞ elena questioned, glancing up at the other, holding both dresses up. one black, one blue. ❝  what do you think ? ❞ in the grand scheme of things, it didn’t matter - but she had to keep up appearances and the gilberts couldn’t ignore town events. 

“You really don’t want to know what I think.” The style between Katherine and Elena were very different in comparison, and it wasn’t like the two were friends for Katherine to be giving her any kind of advice on fashion. Her own fingers skimmed a line of dresses, looking for something she liked for herself.

Transfixed  by  her  screen,  Caroline’s  free  hand  tapped  her  nails  against  the  tables  counter,  the  other  scrolling  through  the  essay  that  she  had  on  screen. It  was  one  of  her  very  first  essays  due  to  be  submitted,  and  she  had  to  ensure  that  it  was  perfect. The  blonde  was  so  engrossed  in  her  work  that  she  didn’t  notice  the  individual  nearby,  their  voice  causing  her  to  jump  in  surprise,  accident  closing  the  entire  document. 

 “You  should  consider  yourself  very  lucky  that  I  have  autosave  on,  or  I’d  be  strangling  you  right  now.”  she  huffed,  not  even  looking  up  from  her  screen  as  she  reopened  the  essay.

“Doing something you shouldn’t be doing in public? How scandalous of you, Caroline.” Katherine didn’t know what Caroline was doing but if she had to guess it was schoolwork, but the doppelganger didn’t care enough to ask.

    Davina wasn’t sure how to feel about such a small town where everyone knew just about everyone . Albeit its bigger than what she could possibly describe to anyone . But when compared to new orleans where she had grown up all her life she didn’t think there was much to do . “ What do people in this down usually do for fun aside from damaging their liver and possibly blacking out ?”

“My definition of fun is incredibly vast in comparison to this towns.” Katherine replies, looking to the girl next to her. “But you’ve pretty much hit the nail on the head with that one.” It’s all she’s really seen from a lot of the people here, nothings really changed about Mystic Falls.
