All Things Mettaton I've been drawing canon and au Mettaton since 2015 with a prolific library of images and concepts. You may have found me through another alias too, which is where I isolate a lot of my campy nastier stuff, most notably a dakimakura design that has been made into bootleg merch a number of times lol. I have tried to keep tabs on all my contemporaries throughout the years so I have an extensive knowledge of MTT fan circles in and out of the English speaking circuit. I also have a massive mettaton itabag that I've been cultivating for as long as merch has existed. I curated the first and second Mettaton fanzines and brushed elbows with hundreds of amazing and talented artists covering the entire spectrum of MTT stylizations and flavors. The history of this fandom is rich and beautiful and continues to change and transform each year and I just think its neat!!!! MTT is not my all time favorite fictional character but he has served me so well in my artistic journey that I can't help still drifting along in it. I put a lot of blood sweat and tears into stretching the limits of my artistic vision with him so... he's most certainly one of my main muses otherwise.

Since I feel that I have run the gamut of canon MTT my work leans more into my AU (Mt Ebott 198x) and expy (Nutella) whose respective tags are #mte198x and #ubetella though some pieces might get missed now and then or mixed in with other tags. Most people that know me personally recognize me as an oc person first and an MTT person second. My ocs span from the neopets days back in year 2001 to other petsites and arpgs/adopts communities which are my main form of online entertainment and socialization. These characters are perpetually under development and all get lumped under the #myocs tag but are parts of nebulous micro-universes that I don't put enough time in writing about lol... my inbox is always open to curious inquiries but getting me to make comprehensive outlines about anything is near impossible. I no longer RP but I've written for most of my teenage years. (when Im not lazy Ill compile each tag here) Elden Ring & Whats up with the Radahn thing When SOTE dropped and I fought PCR for the first time I became the joker and replayed the fight so much that it added on over 300 hours to my total Elden Ring playtime. Its a reflexive stimulation for me now and I associate my practice in the game with overcoming really difficult challenges not just for soulsborne games but all games and tasks in general. It became part of my personality a little bit so when you see me reblogging PCR/Radahn stuff I'm kinda doing a little victory lap. The Real Me I went to fart school but I actually am 99.9999999% self taught as an artist. My blueprint is not terribly unique or niche but I enjoy seeing the influence appear organically in my work. Some of my mainstay influences include Wayne Barlowe, delandfox, Yoshitaka Amano, questionstar/moxmatronic, Thomas Chamberlain-Keen (tcktck), Aida de Ridder/adrhaze, Evan Monteiro, Serge Birault, Jeremy Vickery, James Gurney, Evon Freeman, Barry Kooser, angusburgers, and wen-m. I'm also extremely meticulous about documenting my work and techniques and will not hesitate to get down and dirty with constructive critique or art talk. This is a warning, a threat even. Check out my improvement over the years if you want to see my artistic journey. Sorry I use Adobe Photoslop (collective booing from the crowd). I draw on a large Intuos 4 lunchtray tablet to reduce strain on my neck. I mostly paint rasterized illustrations but I also dabble in pixel art and 3d sculpting in zbrush. Fave aesthetics range from dark sensual romantic chrome and leather to jester harlequin clown circus vibes - anything in-between is god tier. I grew up huge on demons and monsters and kaiju and dragons but thanks to a certain someone I've really piqued on angels too. My music taste threads a lot of needles in terms of genre and hard to summarize but I suffer from a beautiful kind of synesthesia that we like to call "cheesecaking" in this house. I've been told I can be a little fiesty. Can't help it. I don't believe in being fake or disingenuous for internet points. I also have health conditions worsened by stress responses so I just block anything that moves in a way I don't like. Uhhhhhhhh i drew some skylanders trading cards or some shit and splash illustrations for heroes of newerth and I taught at the college level for about 6 years before giving in to burnout due to lack of promotion and have since abandoned all art as a career - instead I am going back to school to get my certification to clean teeth!
