Pulaski could have stabbed data and id be like bet

This makes me so angry because Pulaski is a perfect example of character growth. She starts the season with blatant disregard for Data, trying to be outwardly polite to him but clearly not affording him personhood and agency, but she has that prejudice knocked out of her rather quickly. Halfway through the season, she's been, dare I say, thoroughly disabused of the notion that Data is a mindless machine, and by the end of the season, they're basically good friends.

And Dukat is a great example because this fandom thirsts over a highly flanderised version of what was, in canon, basically space Hitler, and I don't say that lightly (or, if you will, space Eichmann, more precisely), and I don't see anybody batting an eye at that, or at least not to the extent that Pulaski gets it, the way she's collectively remembered as "that horrible Data-hater".

Pulaski has, in her one season, arguably more character growth (and more than enough redemption, really!) than Dukat has in all seven of his (considering he starts as space nazi, briefly takes a detour to space sex pest and cult leader, and returns to space nazi in S5), but the two are held to entirely different standards, and if that's not sexism, fuck me if I know what it is!
