Phantasos

A comic convention is occurring downtown and I have a ticket. I'm undecided if I want to go or not. A friend of mine, Brad, is with me in a living room of my old college duplex. Brad is big husky guy with dusty blond hair. He doesn't want to go to the convention but asked for the ticket any way. I hand him a single white ticket where the stub is already bent and ready to be torn off.

Brad and I decide to go downtown where the convention is and do some people watching. To get to downtown we need to cross a cement bridge that goes over a busy road. On the bridge, there are vendors selling various merchandise like t-shirts, posters and random souvenirs. Its crowded on this bridge and people are almost walking shoulder to shoulder. I walk up to a stand that is selling t-shirts and small items like figurines. The stand has a blue Chicago Cubs shirt displaying on a rack for everyone to see....

My friend Alex had passed away and I am driving this to his wake. In the car is my niece, Kathryn, my nephew, Tom, and my dear friend Dasha. Dasha is from Russia and has long silky brown hair. She has high cheek bones and is very gorgeous.  In this dream, she doesn't have an accent and can speak perfect English. The wake is inside this house/restaurant/movie theater. The building is built like a house and when you step inside, its more of a restaurant atmosphere. There is an upper level and a lower level. The upper level is a dining area like what you find in a restaurant. Also on this level is a couch that is randomly placed in the middle of the room. To the side, is a hallway that leads to bedrooms and at the end of the hallway is a bathroom. That part of the building is more like a house. The lower level is also a eating area but has booths along the wall. The middle of the room is open. On the back wall is a large screen that is used to watch movies. As I walk into the house I am greeted by people who are eating on the upper level. I make my way to the lower level and see my group of friends in two booths. I pull up a chair and sit with my friends in a booth and we start talking. After a few minutes I realize, Dasha is no where in sight. I start to worry and wonder where she went.....

My car is broken and is getting repaired by my manager, Jared. It's a workday but I need to go pick it up. I arrive at his house in a cab. Jared is standing out side in the driveway and my car is on a lift. Jared is about 5'10 or 5'11" with a shaved head and goatee. He waves to me as I walk over to him.

We looked over the car and he said it still need work done. I go inside the garage and look around. All the tools are neatly organized along the walls and on a bench. Nothing looks out of place and the garage is well kept. On the wall is a cork board with a lot of items tacked onto it. One of the items is an advert for a pizza place.

Jared says we should wait inside the house for his brother, who is actually the one fixing the car. Jared's brother isn't there and he gone some where. Inside the house we go to the living room and Jared's two kids are sitting directly in front of the T.V. Jared's wife is the grocery store and won't be back for a while. He tells his kids to go play and they leave.....

There's a cut out of a person on a white marble stand. There are many others like it but none like this one. It's a special cut out that has been cursed. The cut out can not ever touch the ground or it will release evil. I'm not sure who the person is but he is smiling. It sends off a strange feeling. I'm in a white room that has a white bench and bright white lights and I'm staring this strange cut out that's on a white stand. In the room is another person, a careless person and he isn't paying attention. He's laughing and not looking where he's walking. He bumps into the stand and the cut out falls to the ground. I am unable to catch it and can only watch as it hits the ground. An uneasy feeling develops in my stomach. It felt like a hand slowly squeezing my intestine. The uneasiness rises to my chest and dysphagia set in. My saliva tastes like metal. After a couple minutes of staring at the cut out.....

I'm with a group of guys on a hilltop. We are looking down on an abandon town. It doesn't look like anyone has been there for many years. Houses are halfway collapsing. Shops are rusted. Fields have over grown grass and weeds. My group is looking for anything that has value and anything we can use. We decide to split up in groups of two. I'm paired with another guy who I don't know. We decide to search an old wood shop or warehouse. The building is rusting out. Inside there's a bunch of clutter, old worn out machines, various scrap collecting dust, and useless hand tools. My partner and I scrummage through the junk hoping to find something of use. I look out a dirty dusty window and see a broken down house with rotting wood and broken windows and a missing door. Something moved inside the house and I inform my partner. We decide to go investigate. We step outside the...

It starts inside my house but something is different. It feels odd. There's a strange feeling to it. Even though I'm in my house, I feel trapped like a prisoner being held against his will. The house is dark and there are no lights but I am still able to make out objects and things around the room. I'm in my living room and don't see any one else but there is another presence there with me. Another person but I'm not quite sure who. It's quiet. The only sounds that are emanating are from the house. Wind blowing against the siding. Creeks from the stairs. A low soft humming from the refrigerator.....
