Nihlus, age 16, newest addition to his unit, already the worst headache his sergeant had in a decade

my half of an art trade with @danceswithturians where i redo one of their pieces in my style and vice versa. idk where the original is but i did the version on top, and then on suggestion from @ardentzer0 made the second version with filters to resemble a screenshot. he’s beautiful in both so have both (and for the love of god please fullview)

i have been working on that much requested series of tutorials (which are finished and just need a little polish!) and took nihlus for a spin for the first set - palettes, shading, and lighting effects

I made this as an illustration for @smehur‘s fic Thinker Traitor Soldier Spectre of which I became a fan of. It’s a finished, longer (sfw) fic with, IMO, awesome pacing and development that tells the story about how Nihlus and Saren first met.
