Hmmnnn I don’t really read books that often but I did enjoy reading the book ‘i’m thinking of ending things’ by Iain Reid AGAIN the symbolism and it being a psychological horror book I just love the writing pace and everything

If it wasn’t obvious enough it is welcome home and has been for about 3 and a half years straight, it’s been my first ever proper fandom and i’ve met so many (all of) my online friends through it! I’m so happy to have such a supportive community that has really helped me during the years.

Anyways back to welcome home I absolutely adore being able to theorise so much, most my friends know me as THE theorist which makes me literally so jolly because I spend so much time and care into every theory I make. I also think it is so cool we’re watching the lore for welcome home unravel in real time, the character designs are so well thought out and the creators care about the project so much!

I am making a welcome home themed corner in my room, so i’m working on all the decorations for that as well as my room in general as I have moved house. I am also working on some fanfics as I enjoy writing a lot!!

Nothing specific other than waiting and watching SynthCharmVA play Deltarune ch5. The guy’s a riot! Usually I like to play long form videos I can put on the side while I do my other stuff, which mostly consists of Minecraft survival videos and video essays.

I haven’t read any books in the last few years. A shame because I have a few in my possession that I want to get into, but I want to do so many things at once that sitting with a book is rather difficult for me. Not that I don’t read, I read plenty of fanfiction as it is and of which I have, like, seven tabs open for. A phone is just easier to carry on your person than a book. Maybe I’ll go to the library to actually read this weekend.

I did, however, recently listen to the Project Hail Mary audiobook by Andy Weir (free on Internet Archive). Spectacular!

I looked up foil eyeshadows because they look so pretty. I don’t wear eye makeup at all, really, but knowing that never stops the desire to want to buy something new, anyway!

Favorite Flowers

Hard decision hmmmm. I will condense it. Appearance wise, roses (of all colors, the more interesting the better) and peonies. By scent, citrus flowers, lavender, and roses. I would add rosemary to the list, but I enjoy it more for its leaves, even if its flowers are very pretty.

Heya Pillar

This surprisingly took a minute, (not a reason for my absence, I have portfolios to worry about right now), but I specifically struggled with the hair. I refused to let myself get lazy with the design and wanted to show a sense of character with it.

I got a bit worried in the final design as it looks very similar to her mom’s hair but I think in the end there’s something really beautiful about a small factor like that. I accentuate this more with the name change into heya, it’s similar to hiya but I figured it’d be more like a millie and Molly situation. Now I will admit this isn’t any theory or headcanon I have for Howdy so it admittedly isn’t connected lore wise BUT I wanted to show some subtle hints of confidence and self comfort with showing more skin on the arms and a lack of outfit change presenting heya as a woman who doesn’t want to change the way she dresses entirely and that despite that she know how she feels and what suits her best.

Anyway, I wanted to celebrate this years pride month with my favorite welcome home character and if you remember me,…I GOTTA make it laughingstock 😝:

Disclaimer: if you’re reading this wondering “what does heya mean by ‘big change’? Wouldn’t have this transition been a slow process?” And to answer that; in my original idea I wanted the transition to be something she did turning into a chrysalis. That once she came to terms with her identity, only then was she able to be a butterfly, but in the end I scrapped the idea as I have a very distinct idea for Howdys wing’s and don’t like predicting things so soon in the Wh story and forgot to change the wording in comic to match that.

…I deeply regret this decision and will in fact promptly doodle something of that idea because as of typing this that Sounds really beautiful 🙃😑😐
