Jay and Cole
• Jay started agere when end were 12 because of the stress of living in a poor home and ends dysmorphia and dysphoria
• Cole started when he was 16. It was from stress trying to be a leader when he joined the team. He also had stress thinking he would have to run away from the monastary, like he did from his father
• Jay was the first to be public about ends agere with the ninja
• It was unintentional though..
• This event happened after the season Pilot
• Jay was just having a bad day, so end started to slip while playing videogames with Cole
• Cole won the game so Jay had a little tantrum about the fact that end lost
• Cole wasn't confused on what Jay was doing, but surprised end were acting the same way Cole would in his own little space
• Nya, hearing it from the next room over, was confused and was trying to get answers from Jay, but Jay just started to sulk in ends anger

Lloyd
• Lloyd's started Agere after he aged up from the Tea. So, physically, 14 years when it started. It was a lot for his body to adjust to, and to also be a strong leader to protect the city
• It was only 2 weeks after it when he regressed for the first time
• Which was also with the Ninja, while they were at the park
• Lloyd started to feel calm with all of the ninja, which made him slip into littlespace
• Zane noticed the change in his behavior so they let the other ninja know how he was acting
• None of them wanted to say anything, but they did act softly around to help him feel ok. They didn't say anything until their picnic lunch.
• Lloyd's negative emotions all of a sudden started to overwhelm him, so he started to bawl at the lunch
• The ninja immediately went for him and helped him calm down
• When he started feeling better, the ninja decided to move their lunch to the Bounty, so they could also get Jay's and Cole's comfort items for Lloyd to borrow
• When they started to explain what was happening with him, Lloyd felt like he shouldn't do this since he was the leader
• But over time, the ninja started to make him feel better about being the kid he never got to be with reassurance and making sure he felt comfortable
• Garmadon was his caregiver until the season 4 finale. After that it was Wu
Nya
• Nya started Agere after Zane's death because she felt like she needed to help the entirety of the team recover. Which was a lot for one person like her
• About 2 weeks before season 4, they felt comfortable telling the ninja about it
• Kai was a littlespace playdate caregiver for them until after season 5, the role was taken by Papa Ronin :)
• It was around here, before season 4, when they all decided to tell Wu about their Agere. They were nervous that Wu would think it was a childish thing to do, which is why they delayed telling him
• He was shockingly more supportive than the ninja were expecting
• He then started to help take care of Nya, Jay, Lloyd, and Cole with the other ninja at this point
Kai and Zane
Btw, they have both littlespaces & caregiverspaces because they are flips
• Kai started Agere when he was 14. Having to mature at a young age, take care of his sister, and having a horrible babysitter, made him regress to when he felt happy as a really young kid
• He didn't tell the others about his Agere, even after he learned the others did it
• The others doing it convinced him he needed to be the big brother for them.
• He never planned to tell them, but one of the ninja found out a bit after Day of the Departed
• Only him and that other ninja were in the monostary
• He felt himself slipping so he tried to stay out of the same room as them so they wouldn't notice....
• Then his little self got clumsy and tripped in the kitchen room, banging his head against the counter
• Zane ran in the room to see what was wrong, and the sight he saw was Kai on the floor crying and babbling from the stress and pain
• Even after Zane got Kai to calm down, he was still babbling from what was happened

• Zane started his Agere after season 4
• I mean, dieing and being captured and tortured in Chen's dungeon would cause a lot of stress
• They didn't tell the others for the same reason Kai had, they felt compelled to be an adult to help their friends
• PIXAL as a AI tried to convince Zane the others about, but they refused
• After that day, they would hang out with each other as littles by themselves
• It wasn't until right before season 7 that some of the other ninja started to find out
° When the ninja moved into their new home, they used one of the spare rooms to have a set up for when the other ninja are Little
• The other ninja had left for .... something.... I'm not sure for this. So Kai and Zane were hanging out in the Little Room, bringing there secret comfort toys with them
• But, Cole came earlier than they expected, since Cole was gonna grab his drawing supplies then come back to the other ninja
• While Cole was back, he didn't know where Zane and Kai were, so he went to look for them. Soon finding them in the Little room
• It was a shock for everyone in that moment
• Zane then tried to say it wasn't what it looked like.... As he was wearing a oversized T-shirt with a fox plushie in his hands and Kai having a oversized hoodie with a bunny plushie and a pacifier in his mouth
• Cole didn't judge them though, he just wanted to know why they never said anything about it
• Neither of them really wanted to explain, but Zane spoke up about it. Kai stayed quiet and even tried to stay at the other side of the room from Cole
• But Cole made sure they he didn't mind this and trying to make sure they were comfortable
• Cole decided to stay with them to help them in their littlespace
• A hour later, Jay came back since Cole didn't tell them why he hadn't come back with the group
• Jay found them sleeping in a cuddle pile in the little room. End saw the kid clothes Kai and Zane were wearing and Jay figured it out
• Jay called the others that Cole wanted to stay instead as an excuse for them
• Jay stayed too and waited for one of them to wake up so they could talk to Zane or Kai for hiding their littlespaces
• After that day, Cole and Jay would play with Kai and Zane if they were all little
• Kai and Zane later on told Nya, Lloyd, and Wu on their own terms without "Being Discovered"
• They were all supportive and worried about the stress they must have been feeling trying to be adults
° Lloyd's first time seeing Kai as a little was during the night because Kai had a nightmare. Lloyd helped him feel better and they slept on the couch from watching Cars 2
° Nya's first time seeing Kai little was when she, him, and Ronin had a fun "Father-Children" day. Both of them slipped into their littlespaces, so Ronin had to take care of them
° Zane's first time slipping in front of them was on a training day with all of the ninja so everyone helped him feel safe and comfortable
• Between season 7 and 8, Zane told Cyrus Borg about their regression, so that Cyrus would know what to do if Zane slipped while they helped with Cyrus's machines
• Cyrus volunteered to be Zane's Caregiver, which Zane was happy to oblige with
Little note; like with Kai, I didn't know whether to do little or cg hcs, so I did both!
Little hcs-
●- Jay is usually an older kid when regressed, around 5-8 years, but that doesn't mean he won't regress younger.
●- He plays mostly outside when regressed, collecting rocks or flowers and playing with the bugs or just running around.
●- He often gets too excited and loses control of his elemental powers, so since Cole is the opposite of his element, they'll cuddle when Jay's powers get out of control until Jay calms down.
●- He's always just a little ball of energy, so he doesn't get tired often when regressed, but when he's tired he's TIRED. He'll fall asleep just about anywhere, on the couch, the floor, his bed, on his friends, as long as he can fall asleep there he will.
●- When he regresses to a very young age, he loves to be carried around. When he's a bit older, he hates it.
●- Giggliest little boy ever. EEEVVEEERRR! He'll laugh at just about anything!
●- He doesn't rant about his interests a lot when he isn't regressed, but he'll go on and on for hours about anything when he's regressed, and his friends always listen!
Cg hcs-
●- Makes up the most cheesy and adorable nicknames for his little one(s). Sweetie? Nah, they're getting 'My Little Cookies 'n Cream'.
●- He's super protective! This also means that when his little one(s) gets hurt, he tries to be the most comforting caregiver he can be.
●- When he's called papa, dada, etc. for the first time, he gets super happy! He picks up his little one and spins them around saying, "Yeah! I'm Papa/Dada/etc!!!"
●- You know how he makes really corny and funny jokes? He makes the most jokes around his little one(s) just to hear their adorable laughter!
●- Whenever his little one(s) is regressed, he'll pick them up and show them off to the other ninja.
"GUYS!!! LOOK AT MY BABY!!!"
●- If his little one(s) isn't feeling very well, he'll let them cuddle with Mr. Cuddlywomp until they feel better.
●- He'll play video games with his little one(s) and purposefully lose sometimes so that he can pretend to be shocked and 'accept defeat' while his little one(s) giggle and laugh.
●- He isn't really the best about going to sleep himself, but you better believe he'll make sure that his little one(s) is tucked into bed, read a story, and as comfortable as can be by bedtime each and every night!

Just a quick note beforehand; I wasn't quite sure whether to do Little or cg headcanons, so I'm doing both!
Little Kai-
♥- Sweetest little guy ever! He'll ask you to play with him, show off his plushies to you, just general sweet behavior!
♥- However, he does have his angry moments every once in a while. When he does, he'll often burn things without trying, making him more upset, so one (or more) of the ninja help to calm him down and reassure him that he isn't in trouble.
♥- When he's tired (mostly after a tantrum/meltdown), he gets super clingy. He'll hold onto someone until he falls asleep.
♥- He'll shout "I LOVE YOUUUU!!" from anywhere as long as he knows at least 1 or 2 of his friends are there.
♥- He usually regresses to around 4-7 years old.
♥- He LOVES animals, but since he can't actually have a pet (ninja stuff doesn't give them a lot of time for animals ): ), the others will bring him to the zoo!
CG Kai-
♥- He is the biggest sweetheart for his little one(s)! He'll spoil them to death and always make sure that they're happy (if they're not happy, that's okay! He'll do whatever he can to comfort them if they want!)
♥- He mostly uses 'little one', 'prince/princess/etc', or animal-themed nicknames.
♥- When it's nap time, Kai will cuddle with his little one(s) until they fall asleep. Since he's naturally warmer than most and feels like a heated blanket, they're out like a light!
♥- "Hey, little one, wanna see something cool?" *proceeds to use his fire for literally anything*
♥- "AWWWWWW!!!" constantly. He loves anything that his littles do.

(Fun <not so fun> fact, I have a pretty popular Ninjago fic on wattpad that I started during lockdown when I was like 14 but I’ve never finished because I lost motivation for it 😔)

Title: Little Baking Buddy

Cole enjoyed looking after people, it filled him with a sense of pride like no other. He liked being dependable, someone that other people could go to for any type of help.
Cooking for the team, his brothers, was a highlight of his day. Cole loved his found family, and he loved food equally so cooking for everyone was a good combination of those two things. Looking after the baby version of Wu was even fun for him, when he ignored the rest of that whole fiasco that is.
All this to say, it was no surprise that he’d become the go-to guy for his friends whenever they were feeling little and needed someone to keep them safe.
Currently, they’d just finished a pretty long mission and were sailing back to Ninjago - sailing because the Bounty had once again suffered some pretty bad damage and was in no shape to fly. Most of the team were sleeping or spending time in front of the tv, resting their bodies and minds. They had auto-pilot, so there was no need for anyone to spend the entire day up in the brig, which was nice.
Cole was relaxing in his favourite way, by doing some baking. Not only did it relax him, it meant that he and the rest of the team would have a sweet treat to eat later once it was done, the perfect way to celebrate finishing a hard mission.
Cole was gathering the necessary ingredients for his latest baking ambition, some simple chocolate chip cookies, when Zane managed to sneak up behind him. Cole almost dropped the bag of flour he was so startled upon turning around to find Zane stood directly in front of him. He bit back a yelp of surprise, opting to let out a deep breath instead. One problem with living with a bunch of highly skilled ninja, is that every single one of them is naturally light on their feet, causing quite a few of these instances whenever someone’s let their guard down.
“Woah, Zane, sneaking up on me like that for?” Cole chuckled in an attempt to hide how much it’d startled him, putting the bag of flour down onto the counter before it could be dropped onto the floor if anyone else decided to sneak up on him.
Zane looked down at the floor for a moment as he stepped back, looking back up at Cole with an apologetic glint in his blue eyes, “Sorry.” He spoke in a slightly quieter voice than usual, which was all it took for Cole to realise he wasn’t dealing with the big version of his nindroid friend.
“Hey, no, it’s okay.” Cole reassured him quickly, giving him a smile, “What’s up?”
Zane pointed at the baking supplies Cole had gotten out, “Wanna help.”
Cole nodded, “Alright, cool, yeah, you can be my little baking buddy.”
Zane’s face lit up with joy, immediately grabbing the pink apron from the hook on the wall and tying it around himself. Cole smiled too, he had to, seeing other people so happy over something so simple was just one of those things that could make anyone smile.
“Oh, hey, Pinkie, it’s been a while, how’ve you been?” Cole asked jokingly, gaining an even wider smile and a giggle from Zane.
They got to work measuring out the ingredients and combining them in a mixing bowl. Zane was still somewhat meticulous while regressed, not clumsy like some of the others on the team, so the baking process went pretty well. The baking sheets of cookie dough went into the oven and it was just a matter of waiting until they were perfectly baked.
Zane insisted that they clean up the kitchen while the cookies were baking, stating something along the lines of, “It’s how to run a good kitchen.”, although it was kind of hard to understand exactly what he was saying while he was in the middle of ‘cleaning’ the mixing bowl with his tongue. Cole cleaned the bowl properly once Zane was done with it, using the more cleanly method of soap and water.
The smell of freshly baked cookies wafted throughout the Bounty and soon enough the entire team had gathered, loitering around the kitchen like eager, ravenous fiends. Once the cookies were cooled enough for everyone to snack on, everyone thanked the pair for the sweet treat - although Zane got most of the praise once the others took notice of his regressed state, Cole didn’t mind, he liked seeing Zane happy after all.

a major reason why i personally age regress and get the urge to regress is because as an undiagnosed autistic child i was not ready for the rate at which new expectations were given to me.

Lloyd was hiding. He was hiding from the other ninjas like a child. Well, he felt like a child. He felt like a baby but he wasn't supposed to. Maybe this was just a side effect of the time tea? If it was, why was it affecting him now and not when he first got hit? He didn't know. Lloyd started crying. He didn't know what was going on. He wanted a hug.
"Lloyd?" Kai asked, having found Lloyd first. Lloyd looked, surprised.
"What happened bud?" Kai sat down next to him.
"I...I dun no....I...I dun feel right...I feel....small...." Lloyd explained. Kai pulled him into a hug.
"I think I have an idea about what's going on bub. I'm going to stand up, follow me. ok?" Kai stood up and walked to the others, Lloyd following close behind.
"I found greenie."
"Where was he?" Jay asked.
"Hiding. I think he regressed for the first time."
"Aww. Little green bean." Cole picked him up. Lloyd cuddled into the hold.
"Don't worry, we'll take care of you." Zane said. Lloyd decided he would ask later what "regressed" meant and decided to be happy in the moment.
Sometimes all I want is someone to look at me and say "no one should ever have to go through what you went through. I can't belive so many people cared so little that that happened" and scoop me up in their arms and give me milk and let me be so soft it makes up for all the moments I couldn't be
[DESCR- Lloyd wants to take a nap, but Jay wants to play.]
Lloyd felt the soft fabric against his eyelids as he rubbed his eyes from tiredness. He knew it was close to his naptime soon, and he was frankly looking forward to it since he didn't get a lot of sleep last night. It was his turn to patrol, but he got so caught up in it that he didn't make it home until very late at night. He yawned and looked around; nobody but him was in the relaxation room. That was fine, he usually didn't mind if he was alone or not, even in his littlespace.
"Lloydy! Lloydy!" Jay's voice broke through his tired little thoughts as he shouted for his younger brother. Jay burst into the room, taking a few breaths. "Let's play outside!" He bubbled, an excited smile on his face. Lloyd quietly mumbled in response, his eyes fluttering from how tired he was getting.
"C'mon! It'll be fun!" Jay grabbed Lloyd's arm and lifted him to his feet, dragging Lloyd outside. Lloyd didn't say anything, he felt like he could barely muster up the energy to stay awake. But Jay didn't notice how tired his baby brother was, as he walked out of the room and into the courtyard. The others made a rule so that if anyone wanted to be outside in littlespace, they had to be in the courtyard if alone or they had to get someone to go with them. "What do you wanna play?" Jay asked, as bright as the sun with how he was beaming so brightly.
"Wanna nap." Lloyd replied, yawning and rubbing his eyes once more. Jay rolled his eyes and stuck out his tongue. "Pfft! That's boring! Let's play...tag! You're it!" Jay tapped Lloyd and ran off while Lloyd processed it. He then waddled after Jay, yawning every once in a while and having to keep himself awake. He really did want to play with Jay too, he was his buba after all! But he also just wanted to curl up in a few blankets and drift to sleep and-
Lloyd was surprised when he fell onto the floor and was quickly helped up. "Woah, Lloyd. You gotta be careful!" Cole chuckled, patting Lloyd's head as he stood up. To Cole's surprise, Lloyd wrapped his arms around Cole and nestled his face into Cole's shoulder. "Papa...'m sleepy..." He murmured. Cole, after realizing that Lloyd was regressing, picked Lloyd up and cradled him in his arms. "Aww, let's get you to bed, little dragon." Cole cooed, smiling as Lloyd yawned and smiled once Cole held him.
Jay peeked his head around the corner, a little smirk on his face that quickly faded into a curious expression as he saw Cole carrying a half-asleep Lloyd. "Where're you going?" Jay asked, following Cole. Cole smiled down at the other little one. "It's Lloyd's naptime, bubby." Cole explained a small murmur came from Lloyd. Jay grumbled; he wanted to play with Lloyd! "Can he stay up so we can play? Please?" Jay pleaded, looking at Cole with puppy eyes. Cole made a 'hm' sound and looked over at Lloyd.
"Do you wanna stay up and play with Jay?" Cole asked, patting Lloyd's head. Lloyd sleepily mumbled "Nuh-uh" in response and closed his eyes. Jay frowned and stuck out his tongue at Lloyd. "I wanna play tag!" Jay whined, crossing his arms.
"Bubby," Cole stopped and looked over at Jay. "If you help me get Lloyd comfy, Papa can play tag with you until you're as tired as he is. Deal?" Cole shifted Lloyd in his arms so that Lloyd was held with one arm while the other extended out for a handshake. Jay thought for a moment:
'Okay...Papa or Lloyd? Lloyd's tired, but he's super fun. Papa's super fun too, and he's not tired.'
"Deal!" Jay agreed, shaking Cole's hand. Cole continued to hold Jay's hand as they walked over to Lloyd's room. Cole set down the semi-asleep baby in his bed and pulled up the bars on the side of the bed that Zane had made to make the bed feel more like a crib for Lloyd.
"Jay, can you go get some blankies and Lloyd's paci?" Cole looked over, and before he knew it, Jay eagerly rushed out the door and returned with what Cole had asked. "Nice job, bubby. I bet you Lloyd is gonna be really happy because of you." Cole whispered, tucking Lloyd in and gently pushing the pacifier into Lloyd's mouth. He ruffled Jay's hair, making him giggle. Jay looked at Lloyd; he was curled up in his blankets and looking comfortable in the bed.
"Can I cuddle with him?" Jay asked, looking up at Cole for a response. "Hmm...I don't know." Cole tapped his temple. On one hand, two adorable littles cuddling together? The cutest thing in the history of the world! On the other, would Lloyd want to cuddle, or did he just want some alone time?
"Buba..." A quiet, tired voice surprised both Jay and Cole. Lloyd sleepily reached out his arms for Jay. "Bubaaa..." He repeated. Cole nodded. "It's okay, I'll get Buba in." He softly spoke. He looked over to Jay, who had his arms up, ready to be put into the crib-like bed. Cole had to hold back laughter as he picked up Jay and set him down next to Lloyd.
Lloyd crawled over to Jay and rested his head on Jay's shoulder. Jay wrapped his arms around Lloyd and gave him a little kiss on his forehead. "Sweet dreams, Lloydy." Jay smiled at his little brother, watching him fall asleep. Cole grinned at the sight and put a blanket around Jay's shoulders.

(ok so how bout little Zane struggling with coming to terms with agere and hiding the fact that he's been doing it? Maybe nya teaching/reminding him that can rely on others?)
Zane sat in the corner, rocking slowly while sucking on his thumb. He was little, very little...but that doesn't make sense! He is a nindroid, he shouldn't react in the same way humans do! The others are supposed to rely on him, especially as a caregiver! How can they do that if he's a baby!
"Zane?" Nya crouched down in front of him.
"Bad..."
"Oh, snowflake...you're not bad, just little."
"B-buh gotta care for da others..."
"You don't need to all the time. You're allowed to take a break every now and then. Ok?"
"B-buh...buh..."
"Hey. What's rule number one on the chart?"
"...no beings mad at someone for bein' littles..."
"Good job. Now, what's number two?"
"...no forcin' someone to be big when dey little..."
"Good. Now, are you going to follow the rules or do I need to put you in the cuddle pile until you do so?"
Zane sighed and stepped away from the others. Today was very taxing and, while he loved taking care of the others, today was one of the times he wished he could be taken care of instead. Him and Nya just got done putting Lloyd, Kai, Jay, and Cole down for a nap. Zane looked around until he found the spare, plain white pacifier they had as a just in case. He popped it into his mouth and sat down. No one knew he regressed, he was too busy taking care of the others. Zane decided Nya wouldn't need help while he napped, right?
Zane woke up to an angry Nya and a confused Cole.
"There you are! You left me alone to deal with four littles!" Nya yelled.
"Nya?" Cole tried to get her attention.
"You know how Jay and Kai act around each other when their little!"
"Nya."
"Cole snapped out of his regression so he could watch Lloyd!"
"Nya!" Cole yelled.
"What!?"
"Look at him!" Nya sighed and looked at Zane then finally realized that he had the backup pacifier in his mouth.
"Oh...."
Zane sat there, trying to decide if he should be big or if he should be little. Cole sighed and picked him up.
"And when were you going to tell us about this?" Cole asked. Zane just shrugged.
"I think he's the youngest right now." Nya said.
"Well....this is a conversation for when he's big."
