When your lucky number is infinity,

You have an eternity of prayers and troubles.

If God could be corrupted, fall apart hard,

He would. He’d bring everything with him.

Infinite thoughts, players in war, fear,

It’s not too human, even for the omniscient.

Who are the innocent to the evil?

How do you fight the almighty when

The almighty knows your fight?

Sent to a place you’ve never been,

Challenged by yourself to think in places

Without thought. But you do find your mind.

In these unknown places, unknown is advantage.

Prayer, goodness against “goodness” is everything.

Winning a war that was once deemed already won.

Who are the innocent to the evil?

Breathe, take in your surroundings.

Save the damned from damnation.

Feel the ground beneath you heal

As you put your energy forward.

Infinity is not equal to one being,

But one being can choose out of infinity.

He sits aggravated,

Contemplating his reign.

He no longer wants to

Honor his family name.

He feels like a black wolf

Amongst far too many sheep.

He tries to hide his face

As his people scream,

“Dear King!

All your people are dying!

There’s just no denying

All the widows and orphans crying!

Whatever shall we do?

Dear King, we leave it to you.”

He sits lonelier now,

Contemplating his advisory.

He asks them for council

But they’re pitiful liars indeed.

He looks at the rebels

Killed by his knights,

His people spot him

Raging at his fright.

“Dear King!

All your people are dying!

There’s just no denying

All the widows and orphans crying!

Whatever shall we do?

Dear King, we can’t leave it to you.”

He sits terrified,

Contemplating his door.

Of which will soon break

Falling to the floor.

He stares, embracing his doom,

Realizing his mistake.

For all kings soon will fall,

I remember when the dog had cancer and the trees were on fire,

And the company said that it wasn’t to conspire

But we knew that they were liars ‘cause we saw the gas can.

Just so me and some boy could have a pointless fight,

Knowing we were unwrapping endearment from our hands.

I remember almost every night there was a slur in their words

I used to be so much brighter;

My smile more ear to ear.

If you could've read the poems,

I wrote of love and laughter.

We'd go dancing on the dock and

Play some poker after.
