Human:. ... yes? Some humans can feel it in their bones, especially where bones have been broken and healed or have decayed. Most of us get it with age.

Often Amethyst, Pearl, and Garnet are connected to the Diamonds. They are a foils to them.

Pearl is a better WD than Garnet. She & Rose orchestrated the CGs concealing their realest selves. Pearl struggles with this alone, just as WD does once Pink shatters. There’s manipulative tactics (sardonyx/ rainbow quartz at Greg), condescending retorts ( lion/something’s in the warp) and her own enthusiasm for her growth ( mystery girl). WD views lesser forms as P views humans lol. Pearl seeks control to feel safe and because of that she refused to do certain things at the start. If one thing is true, how much more is true?

Garnet’s relationship with Steven could be what Yellow’s relationship is meant to look like with Pink. Pre- jailbreak Garnet is reserved & focused on missions as the YD we know. With people they adore, they are completely different. Garnet will discipline others ( visor of shame, angry eyes, grounds Steven) Distrust of others ( shows gauntlets when meeting/ execution at trial ) They are less expressive but cannot hide depth ( garnet cries at forced fusions/ feeling blue) Garnet shows Steven painful truths while encouraging him forward OR regretfully admitting he wasn’t ready and she should’ve recognized that. Not to mention the handsigns they offer to Steven 🫶🏾&✌️

Lastly Amethyst & Blue! They both experience an emotional change in the series that was so nice to see (everyone does but theirs are my favorite)

Blue’s emotions are about herself - she’s causing pain to others because SHE feels pain. Amethyst & Pearl go through this early on where Amethyst is wildly herself and inconsiderate of Pearl’s boundaries. ( Opal fusions progressively become less combative / Amy asking permission to become RQ vs harming Greg / the kindergarten fight)

Amy believes in Steven but isn’t always directing his path like the others. She enjoys his curiosity & shares his confusion when things do not align. (Blue reminiscing about Pink naming gems / Pink hiding gems ) Aside from Connie she meets Steven where he’s at more often than not. (Blue aiding then validating Steven is not Pink)

Chill Blue is Amy all the time! & lastly, the hoards of items they collect.
