#wait this post has been bugging me but i remembered the actual worst ending ive ever seen and thats Space Funeral. like youre telling me #at the end of this bizarre colorful surreal adventure that they just turn into little white guys with swords and walk into the sunset #it pissed me off SO BAD... to explore something super compelling and artistic and then see it just be thrown to the side in favor of #cookie-cutter rpg assets??? and the tone of the end is like so hopeful and Good when thats just so boring?????#like if it had more of a spine i feel like that game really couldve been smth instead of just a cult classic lauded for being “weird”..
