-Show him that you care about being his friend! Cancers’ friends mean the world to them, and he will immediately go into “Can’t lose this person” mode upon realizing that you see him as a friend! -Show him that you won’t leave. Cancer’s are clingy and fear losing people. Make sure you let him know what he means to you, and don’t leave him when he is in a bad mood or needs you the most! -Don’t try to change for him! Cancers are very adaptable, and he can learn to live with you, even if you are nothing alike. Just be patient, and give him time. -Be careful what you say. Do NOT go off on him or start pointing out his flaws! Cancers are sensitive, often self-conscious people, and he won’t easily forget what you said. -Let him talk about himself when he wants. Cancers can be a bit self-centered, but with all that sensitivity, they deserve to be able to talk about and like themselves! Don’t complain about it if he talks about something he is proud of a lot. Just let him know you are happy for him, be patient, and move on. -If you are dating/talking: Be the one to bring him up when he is down, and balance out his intense mood-swings. They happen, and they happen often, so this is something you will need to get used to and learn to be there for him when they happen. Remember, they aren’t all “emotions and sadness”, this is one of the most loyal and dependable signs. They just take some getting used to. :)
