I really don't think that discussion is worth having with somebody who thinks animal alters in DID systems don't have the right to consent.

Putting aside the issue of purely-endogenic systems, it's pretty undeniable the ableism in how sysmeds treat other disordered systems when they're mixed origin. Especially over spiritual beliefs of some headmates.

You cannot simultaneously claim to support disordered systems while also attacking them for spiritual beliefs.

You cannot support, say, the spiritual beliefs of the singlet who believes they have memories from a past life or the spiritual otherkin while simultaneously discriminating against the DID system with headmates they believe have spiritual origins.

i believe the usage of contact stances as a broad umbrella is reductive and counterproductive to a nuanced conversation about the risks and safety of various situations. what's safe in one situation might be dangerous in another. if we hope to have productive discussions about risk awareness and why certain forms of contact could cause harm, we can't reduce contact discussion to picking teams.

currently many radqueers refuse to even speak to those with differing contact stances and use black-and-white pro/anti terminology that doesn't consider how different situations of "contact" can vary. the term "complex contact", though it might be a band-aid for the problem, is also functionally useless. anyone with any opinion on the matter should have a complex contact stance.

picture someone with the simplest contact stance: "minors dating adults is always bad". this stance taken literally means 17 year olds and 18 year olds or anyone within romeo and juliet law range still should not date. opposite of this is "i fully support minor and adult relationships". this stance taken literally obviously leaves room for endorsement of many possible unsafe situations if those involved aren't equally risk-aware and responsible.

This is one of the main issues as to why anti contacts have been detrimental to the community and progress. They act just as vile- if not more than bigots when it comes to other contact stances. They claim to be the real ones pushing for paraphile acceptance, whilst pushing away a majority of their own community and making their own walk on eggshells- else be banished deemed as a predator.

I hope for the best for you, anon. I will keep fighting for change to finally happen in this community so we can finally take real steps towards for acceptance united.

First, because it's interesting how this is often, though not always, from people who otherwise claim to be very against punitive justice. They always seem to want people they don't like to be punished in some way.

Second, it's always so vague.

What do consequences look like on Tumblr?

I mean, if the person is breaking rules, I guess bannings are consequences. Other than that though, there's not much you can realistically do to me.

Some people are involved in other communities which could make them more vulnerable. If you found out somebody you didn't like was involved in a discord server, you could go to the moderators of that server and request they be banned. You could spread the word about somebody so far and wide to get them banned from every space they're in.

But I don't have any such vulnerability

I'm not part of any plural servers, never have been, and never plan to be. I don't particularly like Discord as a website.

The thing that people are going to have to accept, that I will forever love rubbing in their faces, is that I am invulnerable!

Even if you managed to dox me, there's not even a job you could get us fired from! There are no crimes we've committed that you could get us convicted of!

In whatever way I have hurt any of you out there, you should know... You will never have justice! You will never be vindicated!
