What is so jarring about that article saying he was visiting her there is that his GQ crap in the fall of 2023 said that she was already living in the USA with him before he had to leave for Atlanta for the entire year of 2022 to film three back to back movies. His whole "Pack up we're going to Atlanta" to his "gf i had had for a while." - so she was living with you months already in the USA before you said pack up and follow me south, and yet he was visiting her in Jan 2022 in Lisbon? make that math work. This whole thing is so obvious what it is. Normal couples do not reveal a relationship with some supposed hotel video of one of them, and they don't constantly backpedal and change the details every 4 months of where they're residing.

Chris posted a video for an eighth-grade class at the Jewish Foundation School and fans noticed that the hotel room matches the rooms at the Four Seasons in Lisbon, Portugal. (It has been reported by fans that he’s already switched hotels, so don’t think about looking for him there!)

The video starts off by him saying, “Hello, hello, Mrs. Z’s eighth grade class in the Jewish Foundation School! Chris Evans here, how’s everybody doing?”
Although the sweet sentiment was meant to be the only focus of the Instagram story, people quickly focused on the location of where he shot it.
Certain things were pointed out – Including the dark green lamp in the background and the type of wall paneling behind him. It didn’t take long before people noticed the correlation between his room and the rooms in the Four Seasons Hotel in Lisbon. This led to the belief that Evans was in fact spending time in Portugal, presumably with Baptista.

You don't decipher a hotel meaning ONE possible "actress" means a relationship, especially when JOANA was the one who was actually posting from that same hotel that night, not Alba. They claimed the fans figured it out, NO the team pushed it into the tabloids.
Also the fact they were pushing out she was in PT and he was in a hotel spending time there with her, WHY did they turn around later claiming she was already living with him in the USA by then?... See the issue? In 2023 they claimed she had been living with him all year already and had followed him to Atlanta to film in 2022 starting in FEBRUARY 2022. So why was he "with her" in a hotel in PT if he was already living with her? Exactly.

He has a crime thriller in August to happen in LA, Secret Wars is filming in August, In London. Now unless they have weird accommodations for HIS marvel scenes, that is NOT possible to do both. I think I can safely say this man is officially a lost cause. I have never in my life seen such a manipulative, desperate PR stunt in the history of entertainment. The constant trolling of loyal fans and paying random people to plant fake stories in the fandom—all while pushing a lame, fake narrative with years-old photoshopped pictures in magazines—is completely pathetic. He should be deeply ashamed and embarrassed that his entire career and legacy were ruined just to become this total laughing stock. Even his birthday was completely ignored by the mainstream media, all so they could control exactly what was put out there to honor some ridiculous contract.

March 26 anon she played an audio claiming he was gonna be IN secret wars, JJ did an article the next day pointing out his SOLO stepping out to the four seasons in NYC and claimed "based on a video from a teacher it seemingly confirms the actor in secret wars" News flash -- he's cast in a crime thriller for august, he cannot film secret wars at the same time, and now with the full video it actually gives the vibe that he filmed this long ago and it was referring to DOOMSDAY filming, but again they are trying to claim it was March after oscars , which seems SUS bc he looks completely different.

But I’m trying to understand—what was in it for his managers in the first place? Why would they even allow this?
If you look at the timeline, they both kept getting projects from the exact same places around the same time (like A24, Amazon, etc.). I read somewhere that talent agencies aren't allowed to do those old-school 'package deals' anymore, so if there was some kind of package or trade-off happening here, it had to go through his management company.
Does this mean his old managers were basically using Chris's star power to get themselves producer credits or side-deals on those projects, and that's why they let UTA walk all over them? Because if they were trading his 20-year reputation for their own pocket, it totally explains why they left (got fired?) and why a fixer like Jason Weinberg had to come in.

I appreciate your question anon but seems you are the same one from Jav, and you have to stop overthinking it. It's business, not personal, simple as that.
First of all, I'm not working for any of these people, so I can't answer why they allowed it, at all. Clearly whatever was being offered was worth more to his reputation. Or they thought his reputation could handle the hit.
What I do know and can answer is that this is a business. It's MONEY. They all are making money from this in some capacity. You have two agencies that are going to manipulate to get whatever they can for their client, mainly the lower one.
It DID go through his management company, the package deals etc. His old managers simply backed themselves over and over into a corner, let UTA keep pushing for more for THEIR client, and that's it. I can't make this simpler and I also don't want to? Not at this stage.
His old management wasn't fired, they simply couldn't get him out properly and knew they were in too deep, so enter Jason.
For an extraction like this, which is what we have seen in the signs the past couple months, it takes time. You're basically divorcing the agencies, so each side is gonna have demands.
