Tatreez raffle to support the Abu-Alwan family
You guys have already helped me raise over $500 for the Abu-Alwans in the last couple of days, and Mohammed and his wife Samar are very grateful. The situation is thus:
The apartment that the family moved into less than a week ago was shelled and destroyed overnight. They need funds immediately so that they can move somewhere safe for their children.
All of their children are sick with gastroenteritis and in need of continued medical attention.
The prices of the basic necessities of life are very high in Gaza, and it's difficult to support a family. Infrastructure is destroyed and job opportunities are obviously pretty nearly non-existent.
Here's how you can get your hands on this gorgeous, original piece of cross-stitching (I mean, not this one, but an identical one that I'm working on right now):
Give at least $10 USD to the Abu-Alwan family via venmo (@ gothhabiba), paypal (paypal.me/Najia), or cashapp ($NajiaK), with note "🍓" or "strawberry," to purchase a ticket for this raffle. Send me a DM with a screenshot of your donation and I'll enter your username. $10 = 1 ticket, $20 = 2 tickets and so on.
