I read about how Shogi boards are designed to have a nice sound when you move the pieces, and that's what came to mind when I reread this entry.

Of course they're referred to as boards and not tables, but Ponge does consider borderline table-adjacent phenomena!

I have autism/ADHD/anxiety/dyscalculia and I can't drive (it's legitimately not safe because of how easily I get distracted or get overwhelmed an have meltdowns). I live with my parents and rely on them to pay bills/make food/etc. because my executive dysfunction issues are so severe.

But I'm incredibly lonely and touch starved and I'm 27 already with no dating experience (except for dating someone online as a teen).

But I don't know how to get dates or what I'm supposed to talk about when I do meet someone.

I guess I'm just struggling with

How do I go on a date if I live with my parents and can't drive. Will people be weirded out by my mom dropping me off lmao?

How do I make myself seem actually desireable and worth dating? I don't have much to offer because of my disabilities and I'm worried people will just see me as a child trapped in an adults body because of how little life experience I have. I'm good at art and according to everyone else I'm funny as hell but that won't pay the bills or do the laundry. I'm just worried nothing I can do will make up for the being unable to drive/do basic math/having severe executive dysfunction issues.
