I don't actually give a shit that you don't like the Game Changers books. They're not for everybody. But with this post, you're doing the exact same thing that's been done to fans of romance books since romance books started being written.

For as long as romance novels have existed, people - primarily women - have been shamed for reading them. They're called "chick lit," like their film equivalents have been called "chick flicks." They're seen as cringe and nothing but written porn.

If anyone, but again, primarily women, say their favorite books are anything in romance instead of novels in literally any other genre, they're immediately dismissed because that's not seen as actual literature.

What exactly makes the Heated Rivalry book "sooo lowbrow and awful and cringe" compared to the show, when nearly every scene comes from the actual book? The only difference is that a man wrote the scripts and took the majority of the lines verbatim from Rachel Reid wrote in the book.

I mean nate is dating this like 28 year old when he's 20, he really likes having an older boyfriend. nate is really serious about his career and his body and his sport, and so he appreciates dating someone who is equally as serious. he also likes that his boyfriend has it all together, he has things like hand towels in his bathrooms, all of his guest bedrooms have bedding, he coordinates their flights, he plans their meals, he helps nate manage his money which nate finds so hot

and sid loves having a younger boyfriend, a stud. he certainly really loves being fucked by a 20 year old, all athleticism and young energy and the need to prove himself.

despite Nate being quite serious about his career, he is the goofy one of the relationship without a doubt. he's in his yungnate29 years. he's goofing around, he's dancing in lockerooms, he's funny — maybe not as funny as Sid certainly thinks he is, but Sids opinion is really the only one that matters. he makes sid smile and laugh and makes his days brighter, its exactly what he needs.
