Why does Veronica want to help?

Oh yeah, I never explained that part.

In this particular AU, it’s not so much rehabilitation for its own sake as it is a ‘get out of here by any means necessary’ thing. See, Charun’s become convinced that a lot of souls don’t deserve to be in Hell and, feeling personally responsible for some of their punishments, is trying to get them out. Currently her plan is to get to the Gates of Hell, though if rehabilitation of some sort turns out to be necessary, she’ll try that angle.

Details you should know:

-Haven't decided on a name yet, but it definitely won't be English.

-She's got a secret second mouth on top of her head. She rarely uses it.

-She's pretty important to the rewrite's story (I'll explain why later maybe).

-I know, I know, the most obvious one-eyed yokai to draw from would've been the hitotsume-kozō, but that didn't feel right.

I based her dress off of Victorian fashion, and made her a quail cuz quails are ✨fancy.✨ Personality-wise I imagine her as a Rarity-type character, classy and a little uptight sometimes but still ultimately a good person.

So, here's the new Hannie. The old one didn't really convey the 'cute li'l girl' look I was going for, so I gave her a new hairstyle. Turns out braids are easier to draw than you'd think!

I drew this in a fit of hyperfixation earlier this year, and when Parker drew Transformers fanart last month, I just knew I had to post this.

Name: Blacklight

Alt-mode: Motorcycle

Weapon: Photon sword

Blacklight’s only ever goal in life was to become a great hero like the Primes the Way of Flame idolized. To this end, he trained himself in the ancient art of Metallikato in secret for Cycles at a time. Unfortunately, this didn’t leave him a lot of time for making friends. He still didn’t have an Amica Endura by his tenth Megacycle, which on his home world of Caminus marked him as an outcast.

His skill and dedication landed him a spot on a Torchbearer team, but even there he was shunned by his teammates. The leader, Shin Magna, constantly praised the other members but never once acknowledged any of Blacklight’s accomplishments.

Eventually, this all became too much for Blacklight to bear. Late one light, he left the others a message saying he was leaving and snuck aboard a freighter headed for Cybertron. He scanned a new alt-mode and enlisted with the Autobots for a second chance at being a hero.

Caminus is one of several worlds colonized by Cybertron. The Way of Flame is Caminus' religion, which plays a major role in its society.

Metallikato is a Transformer martial art, typically involving the use of swords. The most notable practitioner is the Decepticon Bludgeon.

An Amica Endura is your legally-registered best friend.

A Cycle is around an hour, and a Megacycle is roughly a year. Probably. We've never really been told.

For his outfit and moustache, I took inspiration from steampunk engineers, and as for the snakey bits, he's based off an adder. I also modeled his head and neck after Pythor, so it looks like the intrusive thoughts won.
