If you look back on something and cringe it’s an sign of character development

as much respect as i have for their talent and hard work, im getting really tired of child prodigy worship. im tired of feeling bad about myself bc im 22 and ive accomplished less than people thought i would have by now. im tired of being made to feel like anything i accomplish after age 30 is automatically unimpressive, average, even mediocre. why does it matter how young you are when you hit a milestone? sure it means you’re crazy talented but what more does it say about your future? if anything i feel like people will get tired of you when you’re older and not so novel and shiny and special and the same accomplishments when you’re 40 will feel totally unremarkable. why are we doing this!!!
