-The manor is kind of alive, and it has thoughts and opinions on all the different residents. Those it likes often get bigger, more clean rooms with larger closets and windows. Those it doesn’t like get dingy, tiny rooms where they could never hope to see the light of day. (I’d imagine that Jeff is on the manor’s shit list because he’s messy, but for some reason it really likes Tim.)

-Different paranormal phenomena happens in all the different rooms. In the parlor you see shadow people, in the living room the radio turns on all on its own even when it has no batters, food inexplicably goes rotten in the kitchen no matter how well it’s stored or how new it is, and in the dining room you may catch a glimpse of faceless folks having a meal.

-Not all creepypastas live in the manor, but they do like to drop by from time to time. And even if every single pasta you can think of did try to live there, there is infinite space regardless of how big the building looks. So there is room for everyone ! :D

-On that same note, proxies are generally required to live in the manor. Or near it. Not every resident in the manor is a proxy though. (EJ isn’t, Jack isn’t, Nina isn’t, etc etc)

-The basement of the manor is basically the backrooms. The layout is nonsensical, entrances and exits randomly disappear and reappear elsewhere, and of course everything is generally eerie and the layout often changes. It’s probably not a good idea to go down there.

-Slenderman does not have a bedroom, but he does have an office. He doesn’t need to sleep, so honestly an office is more practical. Naturally, it’s off limits to enter without his permission.

-Every resident of the manor has their own room. That being said, sharing isn’t uncommon either. For instance, Tim often ends up sleeping in Hoodie’s room because the manor in general creeps him out. And nothing is divided by gender either.

-The manor doesn’t have a formal medical room, so they’ve basically renovated a spare room into a makeshift med bay. Could the manor probably spawn a medical room? Yes. It simply chooses not to.

-In that same vein, (Eyeless) Jack does have his own room, but more often than not he ends up sleeping in the med bay for various reasons. God forbid you try to sneak in to borrow some medical supplies. He will be there.

-The manor doesn’t really stock itself on supplies. So the proxies (and occasionally some residents) will go on weekly shopping runs. Typically there is a public list posted on the fridge or something, and if someone wants something in particular they are responsible for adding it. (And also leaving out cash to pay for it. If there’s no cash it might not get brought back.) Tim is the type of person to try and pay for things when he can, but Toby and Hoodie are utter thieves.

-There are always, always fights about food in the fridge. It does not matter if you have your name on something or if you even lock it in a box. It will get eaten. Even family sized bags of chips just go missing in the span of less than 24 hours.

-The manor has no WiFi. The service is also pretty bad a lot of the time. Good luck trying to do anything social media related. Or really anything that requires internet. (Which is most things these days.) Because of this, most residents end up going to a public library or cafe if they need internet for something. If you’re lucky you may be able to find a bar or two in the house though.

-Speaking of, manor residents are forbidden from posting about the manor online. Not even from anonymous accounts. Slenderman does not need this all getting out to the public. BEN monitors all the stuff the residents do online, even if he doesn’t make that known a lot of the time. He’s technically supposed to report people who break the rules to Slenderman or one of the proxies, but sometimes he can be bribed not to. Residents can still have social media accounts and post online, just not about the manor or Slenderman.

-A lot of people like to think Slenderman has rules against things such as fighting, but I personally don’t think he would. As long as they’re not causing a massive ruckus or killing his proxies, he doesn’t care. That being said, nothing is stopping the senior proxies from making and enforcing rules such as no fighting or no excessive PDA. But because these rules aren’t technically official, it’s easy to get away with breaking most of them.

-At least once a month the proxies try to organize a group meal. It’s not just for bonding, it’s also meant to be a way to get into contact with every resident to make sure they’re behaving, don’t need anything, and are also still, y’know, alive. Even Slenderman will occasionally attend these meals, even if he never eats. (He has a seat at the head of the table, and if someone other than him tries to sit there, they always end up passing out for some reason.)

Generative AI is not involved in ANY part of the process, it’s all organic. (Hence why it takes me thirty fucking years.)

Toby: To me personally, Toby has always been a bisexual man. I don’t think he’s ever particularly cared or put much thought into figuring that out, it just kinda happened, y’know? He was very isolated growing up so it’s not like he knew many kids his age to hit on, and I’m willing to bet his dad was homophobic too, so he didn’t have the best environment to explore himself. If you choose to believe that he once dated Clockwork (which I do) then maybe their breakup was the push he needed to explore. I also see a lot of trans-masc Toby headcanons out there (especially because there is a scene in his original story where he is mistaken for a girl) and I love trans headcanons so I’ll take it. He was the man who cracked many an egg, so I’d take it even if there was no evidence, to be honest.

Kate: I’m gonna be real, Kate is an anomaly to me on the queer front. I don’t think she’s the type to think about these things at all because she just doesn’t care or really have a solid idea of what it means to be queer. I don’t think she even knows what it means to be straight anymore either, lmao. She just…is. She probably exists in a sort of unlabeled space, but is still very much queer. I can easily see her being aromantic and/or asexual, or a lesbian, maybe bi. The bottom line is she doesn’t really care much, she just does what she wants. And honestly, there’s probably some gender fuckery going on too. Again, she doesn’t care about it in the slightest, people probably call her “it” all the time and she simply could not be bothered to care.

Natalie (Clockwork): I often bounce back and forth between the idea of Natalie being bisexual or just a lesbian. It’s hard to decide!! In her story canonically she had a boyfriend, and as I mentioned, there’s the idea that she may or may not have dated Toby (that whole situation is a mess tbh) so it can be assumed that she likes men if we take her story at face value. Butttttt…who’s to say she likes women too? Perhaps after dating Toby she realizes, “hold on I really don’t like guys all that much.” In my personal headcanons I like to think part of the reason they broke up was because Natalie wanted to explore her sexuality and such. But that’s just me. I’m still pretty undecided on the idea of her being bi or lesbian. If she is bi, she probably he’s a preference for girls. Heck, some lesbians date men before figuring it out, so maybe that was the case to her.

(Eyeless) Jack: A lot of people think of Jack as having some kind of gender thing going on. Be it he’s somehow on the nonbinary spectrum, or trans masc (or even trans fem sometimes) I think it’s very fluid. Interestingly enough I’ve always seen him as a cis man. That being said, he probably does have a sort of unique relationship with his gender due to his demonic transformation. Gender is a very human concept, so the fact that he isn’t human anymore likely forced him to confront the gender that has been applied to him by others his entire life. Can he be considered a man anymore? People call him “it” all the time when they don’t know him, or assume he goes by “they” or something. So maybe he is some kind of nonbinary but uses he/him pronouns. That’s what makes the most sense to me. But even if he landed on being a man, he is one by choice. In terms of sexuality, I don’t have a clue. I’m sure for the bulk of his life he assumed he was straight and didn’t have any interest in exploring himself, but that was pre Toby, Liu, and Jeff being in his life. At least ONE of them has to give him some confusing thoughts. I can see himself saying “I don’t know :(“ when asked. And that’s okay! He’s probably bi-curious.

BEN: Speaking of the entity and not the kid, I personally haven't ever been able to imagine BEN seriously dating someone. A lot of people in the past have portrayed him as the type to go after girls who are way out of his league, but I've never saw it. I've even seen him be shipped with Sally, Jeff, and Toby, but those have never really sat right with me either. I think BEN doesn't care for romance. He just has other concerns, y'know? Seeing as he is a digital entity I doubt he cares for sex in the traditional sense as well. All this to say, I think he's aro/ace, or at the very least, on that spectrum.

Helen (Bloody Painter): They’re an interesting one because if I remember correctly, their parents wanted a daughter and raised them as such. Or at the very least made them wear dresses and the like. But as they got older, they rejected the idea. Could they have been trans fem? I’d say yes, but in this case I fear that actually takes away from their story and character. (But I’ve not read it in a LONG time so I could be wrong.) Technically, if they were raised as a girl, they could actually be considered transmasc even though they’re male. I think that’s a fun angle to take. But to me, the most fun angle is the one in which they reject gender entirely. They hated being forced into the role of a girl, but they also come to learn that they don’t want to be a man either. Nor have they ever been afforded that luxury. In their own eyes, they cannot live up to that standard because they were not raised as such. So they decide they are going to exist outside of the gender spectrum all together. Do I think they’d use any of the labels under the nonbinary umbrella? No. I kind of think ALL labels are something they’re trying to escape. But technically, they do fall into the category, y’know? I don’t think they’d explicitly use any particular pronouns either, you just can’t call them she or he. Helen is the ideal way to be referred to in their mind, I think.

(Laughing) Jack: I’m gonna be real guys, I have never cared for LJ, so trying to take a good look into his character to decide where he falls is difficult for me. If I remember correctly, he was originally an entity made by god with the purpose to entertain children or something. (Just flame me if I’m wrong.) That being said, who’s to say he’s a man then? Who’s to say he has a sex at all? Yea, yea, he is explicitly described as being a man in all his official media, uses he/him pronouns, has a female counterpart, etc etc, but I dunnooo…being a nonhuman entity always makes for an interesting case when it comes to gender. Why would an entity made by god for children even need biological sex characteristics anyway? Outside of a masculine voice, obviously. If I keep going down this hole I will spiral, so I’m going to leave it at, LJ probably didn’t care at first how he was referred to. He/she/they, he didn’t have an understanding of gender identity nor did he care. But after spending a lot of time around humans he learned it over time, and seeing as most put him in the box of man (it was like the 1800s in England or something, back then it was one or the other let’s be honest) he kept with that identity and hasn’t changed it since. It makes even more sense when you consider some of the most influential people in his life are also mostly men (ahem, that kid Isaac or whatever) so of course he’d latch onto the idea of being a man more-so than a woman. In terms of sexuality who fucking knows, I don’t think he’s really in the love business right now, he’s too busy hating. I wouldn’t be shocked if he’s aromantic and very against the idea of romantic love as a whole. Or is not aromantic and is still just a hater. (Not to say that aromatic people are haters who are not capable of love, I am literally on that spectrum. The majority of us are not romance haters. LJ is an outlier and should not be counted.

But with Tim specifically I have danced too close to the sun.

I say this because, in my efforts to effectively translate a post-Marble Hornets Tim into a Slendermansion AU, I may or may not have ACCIDENTALLY centered on his worst traits as a character. His drive to survive no matter what, his determination to be normal, his efforts to protect those around him via half-truths and secrecy. Not any of it is indictive to any growth of him as a character.

BUT THAT'S THE THING ABOUT IT.

The way I see it, he did try to heal after Marble Hornets. He helped out Jess, he got rid of his mask, he skipped town, telling himself, lying to himself even, about everything being fine. But things are not fucking fine if he ends up working for Slenderman, and can you blame a man for acknowledging that??

He didn't really try to heal, all he did was take his meds and try to pretend that none of it ever happened! And he never got over it because of that! He's plagued by the guilt of it all! So of course he'd come running if he realized that Brian was alive! Of course he'd agree to work for Slenderman if it meant the Operator could never hurt him or his loved ones again! He didn't make a right turn at that intersection, he went left!

You can't sit here and tell yourself that you're protecting people if you won't even tell Brian what really happened between the two of you! You can't lie to yourself saying you're just trying to survive when you are actively doing everything in your power to maintain the status quo of proxy life just because it's the most stability you've ever had!! You're killing people, Timothy!! Lock in, Timothy!! You can't show up here with this vitriolic vengeance against the Operator and act like nothing ever happened to cause that! Stop vague posting, Timothy!!

You're not protecting anyone from ending up like Jay, or Alex, or Brian when you lie to everyone, you're digging yourself a grave! Foolish, foolish man, you've learned nothing!

The gravity falls AU where they all get turned into monsters

Jeff: I’m going to be honest, Jeff is probably one of those queer guys who may seem straight at first because he’s overcompensating. He was likely in denial for a long time and was mean about it too. A lot of people have AUs where he and Randy had something romantical going on that acted as a prerequisite for Jeff getting targeted so harshly, and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t eat those AUs up. I love the idea of Jeff being a gay and/or bi guy who has a lot of internalized homophobia that prevents him from actually loving himself—or anyone else for that matter. There’s also a lot of people who make him transmasc, and I love that too. Transgender gay Jeff for the win, honestly. His transition goal WOULD be Rodrick from the diary of a wimpy kid movie.

Liu: Liu is weird because out of all the creepypastas, I can see him being the token straight guy. But it’s pride month and that’s boring, so let’s do more. For instance, I can see him being somewhere on the asexuality spectrum too. He just strikes me as the kind of guy who isn’t interested in any of that sort of thing and may even be repulsed by it. Admittedly I don’t think he’d actually use the label, but it does describe his experience. That being said, Sully is some flavor of queer no matter what, and he’s loud about it. In DID systems, alters can have different gender orientations and sexualities from one another, and that definitely happens between Liu and Sully. Sully only likes men, Liu may or may not like both if he’s willing to actually open up to the idea. I think the religious trauma he has (IN MY AU!!) would make him have a lot of internalized homophobia that causes him to refuse to look into his own sexuality. But he’s probably bi and ace, let’s be honest.

Nina: She actually took a good bit of thought, but after talking with my beloved friend Briefcase I have come to the conclusion that Nina is probably bisexual and lithoromantic (with a preference for men.) For those that don’t know, lithoromantic is a label (on the aromantic spectrum) for people who experience romantic attraction, but do not want it to be reciprocated. (Or once it is reciprocated, they lose those romantic feelings.) Nina just seems like the type of person who has many crushes, but the second people like her back, she entirely loses interest from a romantic standpoint. She doesn’t do long term relationships and she prefers the chase of it all. Realistically I don’t think she’d actually use the lithoromantic label though, I think she’d just call herself bi. (And that’s fine, even if you fit into a specific label, you are not required to use it if you do not want to!)

This damn thing has been sitting in my drafts since October 2025. (I was going to do one big creepypasta post but I had to split them up because it was getting much too long.)

Tim: He does not describe his sexuality/uses no labels. To Tim, there are bigger matters to worry about. He doesn’t have time for love or romance anyway, so there’s no point in describing it. He’s not really had a chance to explore anything romantically until college, and we all know what happened in college. So, for the longest time he assumed he was straight, and if you ask him he’ll probably tell you he’s straight, but the fact is that he’s always been pretty indifferent to women/fems. (He doesn’t treat women badly he just doesn’t really develop romantic feelings and isn’t attracted to them, y’know?) So in reality, he’s probably gay. He just hasn’t taken the time to realize that. But he will. Oh he will.

Masky: In my mind they are separate states of being so they get separate sections. And let me tell you, Masky also uses no labels. Masky is not around to have attraction, or fall in love, or fuck, Masky is here to protect Tim. That’s it. That being said, Masky will respond to any pronouns and likes to present androgynously-femininely. You can call Masky ANYTHING, (he/she/they/it) and Masky will not give a fuck, but Masky is definitely not a man. I think it would be fitting to describe them as being agender. And also aro/ace, because they really aren’t interested in romance or sex.

Jay: The Jay being gay headcanons have gone strong for a long time, and I can agree with them. Jay is gay. He knows he’s gay. He doesn’t know many labels outside of the basic ones (literally just LGBT) but he will respect all of them. He’s known he was gay since middle school, when he had a crush on a boy and subsequently realized he’s never once had a crush on a girl. He finds himself befriending many girls, but he’s never been interested in them romantically or sexually. Most people don’t even realize he’s gay because he does like to hold onto that closet door a bit. Alabama isn’t the most queer friendly place, especially in the 2000s-early 2010s, so he only lets people know if he trusts them.

Alex: Alex likes women. Trust me, he’s explored a bit in high school, dated some guys and maybe even hooked up with a few, but he very quickly realized it’s not his thing. He either hides this and denies it ever happened or treats it as some deep and profound experience only self actualized people can understand. (It depends on who he’s talking to.) But really, there is the transfem Alex headcanon…and I really like that headcanon. So if Alex is actually a woman that just doesn’t know it yet….*shrugs*… My only issue is that I don’t think Alex would’ve realized this for a long time. Exploring sexuality, yes. Exploring gender? Not on his bingo card. And with everything going on with the Operator and Marble Hornets…yea it’s not like he’s had time to think about it or realize it. And it’s not like he’s hung around a lot of trans people. Until then, he’s just a very self hating un-cracked trans woman. (And also sapphic, should he realize he’s a woman.)

Brian/Hoodie: Brian has also never given thought to his sexuality. Not because he lacked the time, but because he’s just never considered it. And as Hoodie, sexuality and gender identity are the last things he’s considering. Brian is the type of guy who’s friendly with everyone. He makes friends with everyone, and develops close attachments easily. He’s probably been in his fair share of homoerotic friendships and has just never thought about it. He’s not even considered being gay as an option. He maybe thinks about it briefly when he finds out Jay is gay, but he’s never really done any digging. I think at the end of the day, for Brian, it’s not about what’s in anyone’s pants or even what they look like. Yes he’s friendly with everyone, but romantic feelings are a whole other ballgame. I think the guy is pansexual, but he doesn’t know. He assumes he’s straight, has maybe called himself bi-curious a few times, but in reality his attraction is based entirely on personality and close bonds. He just doesn’t know what pansexuality is. (“Like…being attracted to pans? Or just everyone? Isn’t that the same as bi?” would probably be his first response, unfortunately.) And as Hoodie he lacks such a regard for his own gender I could dare call him some flavor of nonbinary. But again, he’s not thinking about that. They’ll just respond to any pronouns but she.

Jessica: I don’t make the rules, Jessica is a lesbian. She realized in highschool and was very very awkward around all her girl crushes. For a while she had to reckon with this fact, and even tried to date many, many boys to try and prove to herself that she was not gay, but there’s only so much lying to yourself one can do. She’s not very vocal about it because…Alabama, and also during the events of Marble Hornets she has much bigger concerns, but yea she’s a lesbian. It’s been a long road to accepting that, to be hornet with you.

Amy: Bisexual baddie. She dates women and men freely. She’s attracted to both, and she’s known since middle school. I also imagine she’s had many messy relationships with both genders. She’s probably the first person Jess came to when she realized she liked girls. I don’t have much to say on her other than that.

Skully: Skully is a they/them not just because they are, realistically, an agender who does not give a fuck how people perceive them, but because they are literally multiple people. Pronouns are fluid. I’m sure most of the time they match the pronouns of whoever they’re speaking to or whichever person in their collective is in control. Skully themself does not care. Skully is beyond gender. And also Skully is aro/ace because I say so. (And because I genuinely cannot see them dating anyone or having sex. At least not for their own pleasure. I don’t even know if they have the parts for that.)
