Hey PLV peeps.

In case you haven’t heard, PLV truck is officially retiring from the food truck scene.  We are shifting gears to our other passions:  pets, people and helping charities.  Thepetsyshop is the new focus!  It’s a pop up shop for pets and their people, currently at Clinton Crossing Premium outlets on weekends for Holiday.  Will also be at events around the state next year.  

PLV has really gone to the dogs! :Thanks for all your support and kindness.  I continue to take care of my elderly parents which has been tough.  But, I’m thankful to have them with me still!  

This coming weekend, 9/16 & 9/17, PeaceLoveV is going to the dogs, at the Chester Dog Fair!  Come out and say hi, support a great organization, Homeward Bound.

PeaceLoveV heads to Newport this week to work with Sea Salt Provisioning of Newport for a bit.  We will be back on the CT shoreline just in time for Labor Day weekend and will be at the Clinton Crossing Premium Outlets! See you soon.

Ollie is in search of his buddy, El Guapo so they can hit the beach again (see pic!).  Missing since November of 2016.  I think that ChefBigDog may have kidnapped him and taken him south to Memphis!

Find PeaceLoveV next Saturday (6/24) at Hubbard Park in Meriden!  Come out and support your furfriends at the Central CT Pet Fair & 5K.  Meet our friend Skylar, a recent LHHS graduate and a PuppyUp volunteer.  She’ll be heading to Johnson and Wales culinary school in Sept! See you on the 24th.

June is almost here and we can’t wait for it to arrive. What’s to love about June?  So many things happening and Summer officially arrives.  Kids get out of school, graduations galore and Father’s Day!  We love Dads at PeaceLoveV. My Dad is why I love cooking.  He was the chef in my family growing up, taking culinary classes in New Haven and Hamden.  He loved to cook and since he’s European (straight over from Hungary), Food is Love.  His family tradition with his 5 sisters (yep-he was the only boy!), was about having wonderful family meals together and it was truly farm to table as Dad grew up on a farm. Everything was farm fresh and wow could his sisters bake.  That must be where I inherited my love of baking.  

This Saturday 5/27, (also known as Caturday to the Cat lovers of the world!) PeaceLoveV, aka The Purple Truck, will be at the North Guilford Nurseries and Farmstand for Project sustainability.  Come see us and join GVH,  North Guilford Nurseries and Cowpots in supporting the Guilford Food Bank!

This weekend, PeaceLoveV will be celebrating Mom’s at the North Guilford Nurseries Farmstand.  Come out and shop for Mom, grab a bite to eat, relax amongst the beautiful flowers and plants.  Get your green on and show us your flower power.

Looking for a new furkid to be a member of your family?  Check out Homeward Bound’s Adoption Event in May at the Durham Fairgrounds. 

PeaceLoveV will be there to satisfy your appetite.  We will have fresh “4 ingredient dog cookies” free for all furkids (while supplies last!).
