“IT’S DEFINITELY WEIRD NOT HAVING TO WEAR BUTTON UPS AND A TIE AND SLACKS EVERYDAY.” drew said earnestly. to be completely honest, the attention he had garnered from being the new kid was entirely foreign territory and he wasn’t sure how he felt about it. “i’m definitely more comfortable though that’s for sure.” he nodded, avoiding eye contact for the most part. “i’m comfortable enough i could probably fall asleep in some of my classes.” it was a lame attempt at a joke, but hey he was trying his hand at making normal, non-sheltered friends. “there’s a lot of other stuff is different, but yeah.”

The blonde completely understood where the male was coming from, when she was in her all girls school the transfer from that to college was a big culture shock. “Feels good though doesn’t it? When I was able to get out of those pleated skirts, I practically cheered.” Celeste said laughing. “The first time I wore sweats, I felt like I was at home during the whole class.”

Charlotte had been drinking her feelings away at the local bar when she decided to sneak out of house at night and go there with the fake ID an old friend of hers had given her because they had been of age to do so. The young blonde had tried her best to show the entire town that she didn’t care about seeing Gray and Winnie together with her new rebellious look, but she had been lying to them as well as herself. The truth was, it broke her to see them together, even more than when her and Gray had had one of their infamous fights. She had just finished downing one of her shot glasses when she ultimately decided the hell with it and jumped over the counter to grab two giant bottles of vodka, downing the other and about to down the other when she noticed a familiar face walking in her general direction and sighed. “I don’t need tao gqo hmoye, i’m fmine, i pimorsem!” She slurred her words as she giggled a bit. “Di d'ton waann go xhome, sotop!” She slurred, struggling to get out of the other’s grip, stumbling on top of them.

BRINLEY PACED BACK and forth in the school courtyard , heels clicking against the pavement as she mentally rehearsed her presentation to herself. she was so caught up in rehearsing that she ended up bumping into another student , one who just so happened to be carrying a cup of coffee , obviously resulting in staining her perfectly white button up. desperation and defeat washed over her , and she pulled the first person she spotted aside. ❝ this is gonna be kind of weird , but do you mind if i borrow your shirt ? i’ve got a big presentation and as you can see , ❞ she told the blonde , gesturing to the stain ❝ this is going to look unbelievably unprofessional. ❞ ( closed starter ft @pcnkpaisley​ )

“wow i haven’t watched hercules in a good while. it’s been too long. oh i watched it for the first time and i was all over the place with emotions.” she replied and shook her head with a chuckle. “oh that’s good, must be nice to get to relax and chill.”

“i completely spaced and got super lazy to do my homework. someone needs to take disney+ away from me.” chase laughed softly and whined slightly, “oh i also watched froze II for the first time today and let me tell you something, i blubbered like a babie. like freakin olaf, scuse me? and elsa.. i was a mess. but that’s my day, how has yours been? probably more productive than me.” || @limastarters​

“Yeah, I kinda did,” Eli admitted, shrugging her shoulders as she pursed her lips in thought. “Junior and senior year of high school were…really not my greatest highlights,” she mused with a chuckle. “But look at me now. I’m a hot barista with a terrible cigarette addiction,” she joked, “I’m thriving.”

“How could I forgot that?” Celeste asked mainly to herself, “High School seems like it was forever ago, but it has only been a year.” Laughing a bit at her joke, “You are definitely one of the main reasons I got there.”

“it’s like the only thing i know about. you don’t need to know about them, you know about important stuff, stuff that matters to you and matters in the world. you’re all smart.” he blew a raspberry at her, rolling his eyes. “Ugh, let’s go do something then, you nightmare!”

“And that is why I keep you around,” Eli said jovially, sitting up in the bed and hugging the bottle of tequila to her chest. When Celeste pulled the pillows away from her so she couldn’t hide, E felt her face flush slightly. “It was whatever,” she played it off, shrugging, “I was sad and lonely. She was there and she was cool. But you know…ultimately just not my type.”

Celeste let her laugh echo through her room and her friend’s reaction. She couldn’t imagine someone as sweet as Eli with someone like Martiza, nothing against her, but the girl was more Celeste type than hers. “Oh wow, you went rogue for a bit, didn’t ya.”

Charlotte couldn’t help but laugh at the other’s joke. “I mean, you’re not wrong.” She teased. “What do you mean? Did something happen that I don’t know about besides the whole Winnie thing before Spring Break?” she asked.

“Exactly,” Eli said in agreement, “it just…wouldn’t work. I wouldn’t be able to handle it because to be honest I’m kind of a baby in relationships,” she admitted playfully. Despite Eli’s general cool girl demeanor, she really did like feeling cared for and safe and understood above anything else. “Oh come on,” Eli refuted, “I am a shit head.” At Celeste’s shock, Eli hid her face in the pillows briefly, “Uh — kinda? Senior year we were kind of smoking together a lot. That turned into hooking up. But I haven’t really talked to her much since I graduated and obviously I’ve been hung up on someone else.”

Celeste nodded it wasn’t hard to know that seeing how long they’ve known each other. “Which is why if anyone ever hurts you, I will go Texas Chainsaw Massacre on their ass.” She said raising a brow. “Oh, no you don’t.” The blonde giggled pulling the pillow away from Eli’s face. “Damn, Eli. Look at you go.”

Eli laughed as Celeste took another sip of the tequila, watching as she swallowed it with ease. “I see that for you,” she joked, shaking her head at the thought. “That is so the opposite of me,” E joked, musing about her own type. “I do like blondes, but I think my type is more…soft? Sweet?” Eli grabbed the bottle and took a sip, the liquor warming up her body, “I’m already a shit head — I don’t need to also be dating one,” she laughed. “I feel like the farthest I went from my type was hooking up with Maritza. We were pretty similar which is probably why that went nowhere.”

“And that my good friend, is why we get along so well.” Celeste giving her a playful as she pointed with the hand that still had the bottle in it. “It does fit you better. I think if you had someone like my type it would just a hot mess most of the times.” The blonde said nodding, Celeste hardly dates but from her past she knew that dating softer people usually led to her getting bored. She needed someone that could keep up with her fast pace. “And you aren’t a shit head.” Gasping the blonde’s eyes shot open, “Oh my god. You did Maritza?”

“I will definitely let you know once I talk to her,” Eli said, grabbing her phone and shooting Winnie a text on the spot. The laughs kept coming as Celeste explained her dynamic with Grayson. “Like I said, savage.” Eli then furrowed her eye brows in thought, looking at Celeste curiously. “Wait so — what is your type, exactly? Is it just girl because I feel like Winnie and Lottie couldn’t be more different.” Eli then contemplated what she’d just said, “then again I guess they are have some similarities. Hot, blonde, agile.” 

Claiming the bottle once again, she took a swing, “Generally blondes with a little bit of attitude. “ She said before pointing at Eli, “And those too. I need someone to tell me shut up and be as competitive as me. The shy ones are cute, but like I need to be sassed back at.”

Eli shook her head at the photo, double tapping it until a little heart showed up to signal to her friend that she’d seen it. “Winnie, Winnie, Winnie,” Eli muttered, scoffing slightly, “I can’t wait to hear what she has to say about it.” The brunette exited the app and tossed her phone on the bed next to Celeste’s, laying down next to her friend. At her question, Eli’s jaws dropped and she playfully smacked her. “Oh my God, C. You’re a savage, too! Gray is one of your best friends and you’re already thinking about hopping on his ex? Wow,” she laughed, shrugging her shoulders, “Honestly I approve. Lottie deserves someone good.”

“Oh, please keep me in the loop. I need to make sure Grayson isn’t pulling shit out of his ass this time around.” Celeste said laughing but being completely serious. Her laughing increased a bit and she shrugged, “I told him already that I would try if he fucked up. Wouldn’t be the first time. I swear he sees my type in woman and go for it.” Celeste answered in between laughing.
