Political orgs become cults when they start isolating you from the wider community at large. I'm talking about when you and your friend are the only TRUE leftists in a sea of Berners who are just as bad as regular liberals who are just as bad as MAGA who are just as bad as neos and therefore unreachable and therefore everyone is out to get you and you have no friends and there are schisms happening left and right over Who Should Lead and Minor Ideological Differences that constrict your worldview and social circle towards nothingness until you either leave or become the ringleader of the dynamic yourself.

windows clasped LG's hands firmly. "of course! I promise!!!" windows continued, trying hard to be reassuring. "even if I get hooked up to an LG TV or LG monitor that has never been connected to wifi, I WILL install the LG Monitor App and connect to you with my own internet! so you can always know exactly what your friends are up to!"

the amount of mischaracterisation a character has to go through in order to truly count as a sexyman (and there’s about 20 sexymen proper) would cause most people to have a brain aneurysm like it sucks so bad.

times have drastically changed since the onceler, and the range of characters people hype up is far more diverse than it once was. the time period in which a character was most popular (between 2012 - 2018) is the most fundamental part in making them a sexyman.

this is why any sexyman poll made after the one that killed queen lizzy is completely null to me. 90% of the characters in them are just regular fan favourites like get this common real life dude out of there. if you could talk about liking a character with a coworker and not get viciously made fun of by them then that character is not a sexyman like that’s the full truth of the matter.

(this is also why anime boys like reigen and komaeda often count. hate for anything anime-based outside of the internet was especially egregious before 2020)

as someone who for years was asking myself that question, i can now say i have better insight.

you have to think about your well-being, and you have to consider that love cannot fix something hurting both parties involved. additionally, the truest love won’t be painful. love won’t break you. love won’t be holding on when you know you should let go. it feels so impossible to let someone go when you are that connected with them, but it’s in everyone’s best interest to try to move on from what is more harmful than good.
