Now he was stuck with a real pain in the ass. Who was that guy and why did he sleep in his locker? That was a strange encounter, even for someone like Kokichi. And that would mean something.  A locker enthusiast, huh? Probably he wasn’t even joking about that. Just by looking at him the prankster could tell that he wasn’t a normal person. There was something special about him. Like there would be a secret in his eyes he had yet to uncover.

“You’re blocking the way, I need to get stuff out of this locker so I can do stuff. You know, since I’m the Ultimate Supreme Leader of evil, I’m very busy with things that I can’t tell you!” The strange person in front of him did seem older than him though, he probably wasn’t even a student at hopes peak? 

“I’ve never seen you around here though. Are you here to spy on me? Some kind of detective or something?”

Still moving his neck back and forth, as if he was trying to crack it—he abruptly stopped and leaned forward…searching the small male with intense eyes. Then, without giving any indication as to why he was staring at him so much and so suddenly, he stopped. “…That so…” His gaze now wandering, he continued to rub his neck. It actually wasn’t bothering him anymore—not that Ouma needed to know that ( or that he even felt bad for so rudely opening the locker without warning ).

Here to spy on him? Now why would he think that? Perhaps Takumi had a look of mystique about him. Hm, he liked the sound of that. Being some kind of suave spy…and, perhaps, this kid was going to do something interesting. Well, he sure spoke to him in an interesting way. Not even bothering to be cordial, that was a hell of a way to speak to his ‘elders’. “…If I was a detective, would you—a Supreme Leader of Evil—have to kill me? Oh no, that’s pretty scary.” His tone was so one-note, it could have rivaled a robot’s.

“Aren’t you supposed to be an adult?” she snapped. The fact they were having this discussion was enough to anger her. For some god awful reason, she needed to spell out exactly why his so-called love was abhorrent. But that was the problem with filth. They were too far gone to understand why, in the first place.

“Dying from old age, sickness, even an awful accident are tragic. But murder?” she hissed, her temper flaring once more. The exception, to what she would say, was those few who truly deserved their deaths. The truly corrupt. “There’s no closure. There’s no goodbye. Plenty of murders go unsolved.” Hers especially.  “Family and friends are left behind to pick up the pieces. Their loved ones are six feet under, while the murderer walks free. There is nothing beautiful about causing that.”

Did he think his passion was enough to change her mind? No. It wasn’t nearly close enough. She’d sooner die, than accept his views. She, of course, intended to live. Those children were waiting for her. A certain space moron was too. For those reasons, she couldn’t see eye to him. No reason was ever enough to justify murder.

Her eyes snapped from him to the hand offered to her. He talked about regret. But he was wrong. Her only regret would be compromising upon her morals. He acted as if he understood, but he was only scratching at the surface. Truly, he know nothing of her.

“Why the hell should I get along with someone like?” Maki hissed. She hadn’t back down, but she wouldn’t take his hand either.

“Yes, that’s right,” He coolly replied, as if he weren’t quite aware on what her point was. But he knew. He knew that she was becoming more and more irritated with him, with his discussion, with his passion. To her, it was nothing less than abhorrent. To him, it was anything but. It was as if they were discussing two completely different topics and attempting to make a conversation off of it. It was as if he couldn’t make her understand, no matter what.

“Are you…referring to anything in particular?” Because she was an assassin. The way she spoke, the way this seemed to tug at her nerves more and more…as if it were personal. She was thinking about her own killings—rather, the assassinations she had committed. The assassinations she continued to commit. Her murders, which—to him, had purpose. To him, held passion. To him, were worthy of his love. And yet, sadly, he wasn’t able to rate them. “That’s just your own personal…opinion on the matter. Nothing beautiful about that? There’s…beauty that you just aren’t wanting to see. You’re turning away from it, Miss Assassin. You’re running.”

He wanted to make her see his point of view. But, at the same time…as he stared into her eyes…eyes that resembled blood—he knew that she was never going to accept him or his twisted passion for murder. For the passionate killings he deemed worthy of love. At this point, he was just talking—talking and talking, with no further purpose. Can’t fault a man for trying, right?

Ugh, it was gross listening to Takumi-chan talk about how much he enjoyed his job, when Kokichi was 99% sure he used his job to kill, or disguise evidence of killing.

“That’s dangerous to poke your nose into,” Kokichi snickered, ignoring the question. Takumi-chan probably had enough experience to tell at a glance that Kokichi wasn’t a killer, just like Kokichi could tell that he was. “A supreme leader is way above your pay grade, right~?”

They’d arrived at the museum, so Kokichi trotted inside. At the ticket counter, he turned on the charm until the woman manning it couldn’t help but smile, then batted sweet, innocent eyes up at Takumi-chan.

“Thanks for taking me to the museum, onii-chan!” Kokichi chirped, and the woman looked expectantly at Takumi-chan. Kokichi was determined to get at least some money out of this guy, even if indirectly.

Certainly, he had enough experience. It was something of an expertise of Takumi’s, after all. To be able to discern the eyes of a killer…the movements of a killer—the way a killer behaved. He could tell. He knew. If he were wrong, well, certainly…the eccentric male would be surprised.

However, for someone who called himself the Ultimate Supreme Leader to have never harmed anyone nor killed…slightly unusual to the investigator. Well, whatever. “Yeah, probably…depends. Wonder how a Supreme Leader makes money, anyhow…” Actually, he didn’t. And he was pretty sure he was above his pay grade, but he played along.

“Are you… Serious? You offered but didn’t know what you were signin’ up for?” Leon stared blankly for a few seconds. Well, actually, things could be worse. He wasn’t exactly against rushing into something headfirst and just feeling it out. Alright, so this was what they were going to do.

“Fuck yeah, y’know what, I don’t give a crap. I’m still in since ya seem cool enough, and definitely badass enough. Y’know, this might be worth the time spent testin’ ya. Aight, then if that’s everything. But do me a favor, keep this on the down low for now. I’m still a baseball star after all… Ain’t exactly sure I’m ready t’make that big debut yet, yeah?”

His head tilted to the side, as if he were being completely clueless—which he wasn’t, he just felt like acting as if he were—he spoke in a dull tone. “Is that bad…but, well, I have a strong work ethic, so it should be fine…probably.” No confidence in his voice, and lying present as well…because he didn’t have a strong work ethic—although, he was very good at his job…this should be interesting to say the least.

Reaching inside thechest, he grabbed a flashlight. Well, it appeared to be a normal flashlight.Why was it inside this treasure chest? Hm, he could probably use one. Best tosee if it worked—or if it needed batteries—flipping it on, something…unexpected happened.

It was such a strangefeeling. It was such a trippy feeling—as if he was floating out of consciousness,nearly an out of body experience… as if he was standing, but he wasn’t. Hismind going blank, memories forcefully began to play…

What was this..? Itwas him, in middle school. His friend at the time, Shuji Fujigawa covering hiseyes hurriedly—shielding him from… as he called it—the R18 scene they foundthemselves involved in. It went on, playing more of what occurred that day… a massacre...

It was what he was wishing to obtain. A desire. Information on MakiHarukawa—her latest assassination, the method she used to kill… this was a glimpseinto the passion he proclaimed she held. Knives… normally involving close contact,unless thrown. Precision was necessary when using small, pointed weapons. The serialkiller continued to analyze the report—glad it was in his hands.

What a bother—he opened the treasure chest to find a strangebear… who wanted Takumi to be his dad? Or at least, that’s what it seemed like…as he was calling him ‘father’. One thing was certain—the investigator knew hedidn’t have any children and certainly not a bear-child.

Staring at the odd… talking bear… he did find it a bitcute. It was a tad weird, but who said weird wasn’t cute?

“With a cute face like this, I have a loooot of experience with perverts,” Kokichi said in conspiratorial tones. “Trust me when I say that the best way to ward them off is if they think a higher level pervert is already perving on me.”

It sounded like a joke the way he said it, but it was the truth.

A guy with a killer’s eyes who investigated murders? Using the system to find victims or conceal his own crimes then. Disgustingly common in cops and detectives. That’s why Kokichi appreciated good detectives like Kirigiri-chan and Saihara-chan so much. Well - that, and it was fun being chased or investigated by the good ones.

“Ew, no thanks, I’ll pass,” Kokichi huffed, wrinkling his nose. “Dead bodies are sooooo gross and smelly. I could never do that~! Well, a bum like you probably didn’t have too many career prospects, huh, Takumi-chan?”

He’d never exactly dealt with anything like that. Ever since he was in middle school, he’d mainly kept to himself—unless he was being bullied or was spending time with Shuji. So, he’d take his word for it. Liar or not, it didn’t matter… although he was getting a bit too comfortable calling him a ‘pervert’, even if it were true to an extent. Covert pervert, more like.

“I guess,” His stride speeding up, he kept his hands in his pockets. Face looking down, expression unable to be discerned. A tone that was low, emotionless. “Although, it wasn’t because it was a last option… I really enjoy it. If you have no interest, it’s not good to get involved.” Well, as a Supreme Leader, what was he up to? From the sounds of it, he didn’t have his… if they existed—society members killing people. What did he do? What was its purpose?

What kind of a dare… he sighed—should’ve expected somethinglike this from a person like Ouma. Well, he wasn’t ready to talk about the mostembarrassing thing that had ever happened to him. Some things were better leftprivate, right? And this was a thing that… couldn’t be disclosed. No matterwhat. Although it would cost him modesty…

He rolled his eyes—then, took of his suit’s jacket… thedress shirt, the tie—bare from the waist up. Time for the pants… reluctantly,he took off his belt and removed them hurriedly. Best to get this over with. Really,who thinks up something so twisted? Someone like the Supreme Leader, that’s who.

Inhaling, he began to position himself like a teapot. Thedance was in motion, time to sing. So he did—in the most monotone, roboticvoice possible…

“I’m a little teapot

She struggled with her identity. Not many wanted to understand the difference between killer and assassin. No matter what people thought, Maki never killed someone not on her hit list. She never had reason to. She supposed she did have her own set of morals, however weak they might be. Those morals were being questioned.

What would Kaito think? What would Shuichi think? No. She had to believe they would believe in her. This wasn’t her killing to just kill. This was more than that. This was something the police couldn’t solve. Maki didn’t know his track record, but it was evident he hadn’t been caught. He would likely continue to be that way, if left alone.

“You… rate murders?” Maki continued. The more he spoke, the higher her disgust became. He could justify it all he wanted. Love? Passion? That was false. The answer he should have given? Sin. He was a goddamn sinner. She was the same. However, he was far more tainted than her. Maki was willing to confess her crimes and accept her punishment.

She was going to be judge, jury, and executioner. He judged her first. Now, she was reclaiming that right. She supposed she was seeking justice in her own way. Was it right? Maybe not. But nothing could be more grotesque than his love of murders. “What I want?” she almost laughed. How strange, to be asked of what she wanted. Maybe he underestimated just how much she made up her mind.

“Actually? Yes.”

He was provoking her. The assassin and her utter disdain for murders—his passion of killings, his passion for murder. Because she had never had a desire to end the lives of those she had been ordered to ‘take care of’. She was never seeking someones death for the thrill, for the hell of it. And certainly, that wasn’t Takumi’s motive, either. If she had been that way, he’d never have claimed she held ‘passion’ in the first place. Her feelings… her abhorrence for murder… drew him in more. It made it feel more ‘loving’.

There was once a time he too held murder in contempt. That was so long ago—it felt like such a long time ago. When was that? Why did he change so much? That’s right… because of that time. One event can change your entire life. It wasn’t as if he could have ever predicted this, either. If the ‘old’ him saw the ‘new’ him, what would he think? Perhaps he was always like this, all along.

“… You’d regret it, though...” She’d regret it, there’s no way she wouldn’t. The murder with no enthusiasm, the murder with a lack of feeling. The thought of it was his own source of disgust. Just as she was sickened by his passion—he was the same with the lack of. “Don’t misunderstand me. I truly, from the bottom of my heart… just love the most heartfelt of murders. Is that wrong? Why is it wrong?”

Glaring at the brunette, he backed away slightly. He wasn’t going to allow himself to die—not when it would be this way. Not when there would be no intensity. No love. It was like his own nightmare—come to life. If he had to… he’d strike first. Because those who held no feelings for their killing would rate a zero… and die.

“That attitude… we’re more alike than you’d like to think, probably… in fact, we could get along, I think…”

“Woah you’re already down for that? Huh…” Well, he wasn’t actually being serious at first… But if the other had the right mindset to support Leon’s sometimes rebellious nature, and considering he was already, supposedly, a fan of his voice…

Setting aside that thought for the moment, Leon folded his arms across his chest and observed the other quietly. “Tough sleeping? Hm. You’re that excited? Well, it ain’t like I’m not amazing to hang with… Then I’m in. Let’s do it! And for the record, ya don’t hafta worry ‘bout dressin’ up or bringin’ cash or whatever. I’ll keep us covered. Gotta test out a potential manager as best I can, yeah? Hehe.”

To be fair, Takumi wouldn’t exactly be the most amazing person to hang out with either—especially if booze was involved (he tended to get carried away). He hoped it would be. At any rate, at least he was set as far as not having to bring any cash… because, quite frankly, that may have proved to be an issue. He never kept a lot on hand. Ever.

“… Actually, I have to confess first… I have no clue what to do as a manager. But I’ll be there to bust heads if you need me to, so there’s that…”

❖ ─ ━ ɩɴⅴеႽτɩնατοʀ Asking a sweet tooth like her about her favorite type is a tricky thing to answer there but there was a certain kind she preferred at times especially cause her mother makes them for her.  Hearing that though she couldn’t help but smile more at it, she enjoys making things for others it was in her nature to really. To give kindness to others but not expect anything in return for it was something she learned during childhood so she was glad that he would like to try it there. ❝My favorite? Well that’s hard to say really but there is one type I like over others from time to time there, it would likely be Melting moments cause of how they just sort of melt when you eat them. ❞ She didn’t mind making either one there and baking was her hobby in a way when it comes to it there, if she wasn’t drawing then it would be cooking and she can easily remember recipes when she knows how to make it at the start. ❝I’m fine with making either one there really but I’ll do both there. I’ll do it when work is over for us there and bring them in the next day then, sounds good?  ❞

Melting moments—he’d never heard of those before. But they were an interesting choice to pick, and he had to admit, they sounded like they’d be really good. If he had to choose now, he’d pick those. They melted and were her favorite. It was a good choice, he thought.

But still, she was really going to make something and bring it when work was over? He was fine and dandy when they were just discussing it, but now that it was becoming official... Takumi found himself more embarrassed at the thought. Ah, his middle school dreams were finally coming true. A slight blush overtook his cheeks as he nodded, glancing away from his partner.

“... Perfect, thanks. I mean, should I get you something..? I can get you something, like… like a bottle cap…”

What did a bottle cap have to do with anything? He was flustered, and said something weird. And it wasn’t as if this was White Day, he didn’t need to give her anything in return.

“Uhhh, well, yeah. I’m looking forward to trying what you make… especially the Melting moments… I’ve never had them. They’re your favorites though—that’ll be an experience.”
