White Lie

Kokichi knew very well, what day today was. Even if he acted like he didn’t, when his girlfriend texted him yesterday the question; ‘if he’s already prepared for tomorrow’. But of course he was, there’s no way he would forget her birthday of all things. It just was... funnier if she thought he would. As always, Kokichi seemed like someone horrible, but in truth, he made already a lot of preperations for today. It would start with his surprise visit. Sadly, he couldn’t really make it earlier, so it was already afternoon by the time he reached her house, but that wouldn’t stop him from still turning this into the best and most awesome birthday she ever had!

Really, even if she called him the ‘worst boyfriend ever’ just the other day, he will make her eat her own words. (Like he usually did.) You could say, that being romantic was never a thing he was good at, or aimed to be good at... but today, his only goal was to surprise or maybe even shock her a little, with his efforts alone. Never would he thought, that he would ever plan a ‘romantic’ evening for anyone, and honestly, a cliche one still sounded way too boring to him. So of course he did plan his surprises, but even he had to obey to some cliche rules, in order for this to work out. For an example... he was waiting for her in a suit right now. 

To be honest, Miu wasn’t the real reason for him wearing one though. It was more like, that the place he planned to invite her to later, most likely wouldn’t accept his usual half torn attire. It kind of felt a little weird, to go outside without his scarf today. But wearing a suit wasn’t so bad as he thought it would be either. Sure, it wasn’t really comfortable, but he kind of felt like some cool rich villain from the movies. (Of course he wouldn’t feel like a gentleman...)

However... the supreme leader already ranged her door-bell a while ago now. But for some reason, there was no one opening the door for him. Damn it, he texted her not too long ago, that there was a surprise waiting for her at home soon. Or maybe, she was just checking her hair and make up again, like she usually did. How unecessary... but, today was her day, so even the impatient Kokichi Ouma would wait a little longer. 

Once some time passed and she finally opened that stupid door, he greeted her with his usual bright smile! “Finally! You’re really slow, you know that? Buuut, whateves. Considering how long you needed to open that door, you already figured it was me, huh? Well, too bad! Happy Birthday, Miu-chan! Say, say... were you lonely without me?~” Of course she was. She must have been angry, since he, as her boyfriend, only congratulated her now, but whatever, he didn’t care. To a prankster like him, everything was better served as a surprise after all. With a teasing smirk he pulled her a little lower down to his level, so he could give the ‘lucky’ girl a ‘happy-birthday’-kiss. (Which was basically to his benefit, so he wouldn’t have to listen to her coming complaints.)  

“I know, I know, you’re already waiting for your present, riiight? No worries! There’s NO way, I would visit you empty handed on your birthday! Not even I’m a terrible boyfriend like that, nee-heehee...” He reached into his trouser pocket and handed her a rather small box right after. 

“I loooove halloween! And that’s no lie, really! You can wander from door to door, and threaten people to give you sweets! And if they don’t obey...”

Pokemon! I never really shipped anything in Pokemon, not AshxMisty and not Jessie x James, I just never really got into any ships there? Can’t say I don’t like some ships from the in-game trainers but Pokemon (and Digimon also) are series that I love because of the games and not because of the characters, so I guess that’s why lol.

That’s a hard choice, I definitely like both! Though I only can drink coffee with a lot of milk and a little sugar in it haha. But I like both, because both have something comforting? Idk these are good beverages haha, funny thing is, I used to dislike both as a kid.

Hoo boy. Well, compared to other fandoms the DR one seems pretty small (and almost dead)? Especially recenlty, which is a little bit sad. But since v3′s english release did already one year pass (with no new games in sight), so I guess it’s not too surprising. I think the people in the fandom are pretty chill and I didn’t have any real bad experiences though? BUT, if I had to pick one thing I’m not so fond of, I guess it’s that the fandom has some headcanons for certain characters that are seen as “facts” by many people, and if you don’t rp/write/draw that character in that way, they complain about it very fast. Like, sometimes I replay the games and realize “WOW this character is completely different than how they are portrayed by the fandom” but that’s like, not a too tragic thing or something like that.

✂ - Do you hate people easily?

I’m kind of worried that this got sent in as an anon... (do I seem like someone who hates others easily?)I wouldn’t say I hate people that easily, I’m just a very cautious person and I guess I can need quite some time to warm up to others? I admit that there are certain behaviors from people that drive me away, or just people I wish to not get too close with, but that’s not often the case. If you’re chill, I’m chill too, or at least I hope no one feels scared to reach out to me or anything like that!

♫ - Do you listen to music when you write? If yes, what kind of music, if no, why not?

    Miu knew most of what was going to happen in the supposed haunted house. She was the creator of this beautiful park. It should have been named the ‘Miu Iruma Amusement Park.’ Still, it wasn’t as if she could predict the timing of the jump scares. The severed head rolling in their direction caused blue eyes to widen, but she didn’t make a sound (aside from a squeal she tried to repress). The whole point of this place was supposed to be about Kokichi. The inventor wanted to learn about his fears– Both for future reference and perhaps she would be able to invent something to help that shit in the future. That, and she was waiting for a good laugh. She wanted to see a terrified look on Kokichi’s face.

    Yet, her boyfriend was laughing at the props and timed plastic ghouls jumping out at them. What the fuck was that about? Honestly, it annoyed her a bit. “Would a real severed arm scare the shit out of you? Is that what you’re saying? This.. wasn’t supposed to be funny. God. What kind of scare tolerance do you have?” It was too dark for him to notice, but Miu’s face was etched with bits of annoyance. Still, she continued to hold onto his hand during that time. She gripped onto the supreme leader’s sticky hands as lightly as she could in hopes that she would feel him hold onto her tighter.

    However, that thought wasn’t coming true. As the lights suddenly went out, it was Miu who held tighter onto the fucker’s hand. “Hah? T-The fuck is this? No, of course not. W-What kind of haunted house goes pitch black? There must be a fucking power outage.. Shit. Can’t we just find the exit already? Let’s leave. I’m tired of this.” She said that, but really, she just wanted to exit back into the light. There was no point in being there anymore, anyways. Still, it was too dark to see the pathway to the door. “Do you see a candle or anything? Hell, even a goddamn flashlight?”

“Hahaha! That isn’t too bad! I never was in a haunted house that got completely dark before!” Kokichi laughed, but honestly, it was weird. Was that maybe Monokuma’s or the Monokub’s doing? Still, he wasn’t really scared, just cautious. 

“Let me look around, okay? Don’t worry, you can count on me! I totally got this!~” He sure did sound like a reliable boyfriend right now, too bad that Miu couldn’t see his malicious grin he made while saying all that, to know better though... Slowly he did seperate his and her, by now sticky and sweaty, hands.“Just be a good girl and wait over there, I’ll look if I can find anything!”

Then he walekd some steps away from her, or at least pretended to do so. It was more like, walking around her than really distancing himself from her. His goal wasn’t to find a flashlight or a candle, like hell there would be anything like that around here anyway. Oh no, his mind was fully set on his prey for his next prank. It was time to show his girlfriend how a real jumpscare would look like! Of course it would be boring, if he would have revealed himself right away, so he just waited there and patiently waited for Miu to slowly become more and more nervous. 

After some time has passed and the prankster finally thought that she was scared enough by now, he took his chance and quickly wrapped his arms from behind around her. 

    “Are you fucking crazy? Like hell I would invent this! Besides.. If I did, why would I test it on myself? I’d obviously have you switch places with a smelly skunk! You know.. Become the stinky animal you really are and all. God, am I funny– But it’s not as humorous coming out of your body. Shit.” She crossed her arms over her chest, diverting her gaze to the side. “Do you know who you’re talking to? I’m the gorgeous girl genius Miu Iruma– I can invent anything I set my mind to.”

    She wasn’t sure where she would even begin, however. Was it even possible to change it via technology? Hell, maybe Angie would get a real fucking kick out of all of this. Miu kicked her feet at the ground, letting out a huff. Within that moment of silence, her his stomach grumbled and thus caused the inventor to raise an eyebrow.

    “Huuh? Did you not eat last night, shithead? It would be troublesome if this went on.. Well, I guess I’ll be heading to the cafeteria. You’re coming too, right? I can’t have my sexy body starve, either. We can sort out the fucking details after your small-ass stomach is full and all– Unfortunately, I can only fill it up with food this time. Buuut.. That’s only until we switch back! Heh!”

    She couldn’t help and make a joke, but really, she didn’t want this situation to last long. Miu could only hope the cafeteria would be empty, but who was to say? Regardless, she didn’t plan on talking much to anyone that wasn’t Kokichi. This was certain to end in suspicion and disaster and Miu definitely didn’t want to see anything go bad with her sexy body.

“Huh? You’re really thinking about food right now?!” Well, eating something didn’t sound that bad right now. But was it really safe to enter the dining hall like this...? Walking into the others wasn’t anything they could avoid forever, Kokichi knew this, yet still... He doubted Miu was able to act anything like him.

...Could he act like her? Hah, being a vulgar bitch about every little damn thing couldn’t be that hard, could it? Still, they had some very annoying and nosy people as classmates, so it wouldn’t be wise to talk too much in front of them. Especially Shuichi and Kaede would get suspicious of them very fast if they would. Best would be, to act as inconspicuous as possible... but then again, that wasn’t very like them either...

“Fine, but listen well to everything I say, okay? We shouldn’t draw too much attention on us after all, and I know you would mess it up easily, if I would let you do whatever you want! And as soon as we’re finished there, you’ll better think of a way to change us back!”

They quickly made their way out of Kokichi’s room towards the dining hall. It sure was akward to walk next to his own body. And extra weird since his body belonged now to no one else than Miu too... And being inside hers felt very new too. The world sure did look different from up there, it was interesting, but not interesting enough for him to enjoy this situation still... Before they opened the door, he did have some last commands for his girlfriend.
