idk who needs to hear this but lately my niece has been painting a lot and making some very messy but very adorable finger paintings that my sister has been giving people for Christmas etc and i can't show a picture because i obviously put her name on it but i made some little museum-esque information placards to put on the wall next to them and it really elevated the way they look on the wall and came out SO nicely, i literally just made it in google slides because it let me put in columns but you could literally use anything and printed it on cardstock so it looks even nicer on the wall. mine just said 'About the Artist' with some silly details about her and a funny picture of her because i wanted to be able to put the same one with any painting or picture she drew but you could definitely individualize them per art work more like in an actual museum
