That's bad enough!!!!!!!! But the entire idea of needing permission from state authorities to access anything labeled mature by our friendly AI overlords is some fucking Boll shit. Die Gedenken Sind Frie baby. This is all a reaction to people getting uppity about their lowly lowly rights and is being propped up by the same bad actors tht have made life unlivable. Fuck that shit.

YOu know it's always really funny when these tech giants (Or whatever you call owning tumblr dot com) get really antsy about laws considering they pick and choose which ones they abide by.

Kindly please rescind your dangerous and invasive policy of age-verification on Tumblr. This feature puts people's personal information at risk of third party hackers who can doxx us and reveal our information to stalkers, hate groups, and other dangerous people.

In addition, the process by which things get labelled as 'mature' on Tumblr is woefully inadequate and inaccurate. Anything from a photo of a black person to a public safety notice about IUD recalls can be inaccurately flagged as mature content. Meanwhile, I constantly see bot accounts and advertisements that display sexual activity and genitals without repercussion. The inconsistency is hypocritical.

Allowing us, the Users, decide for ourselves what we want to see via the dashboard post filters is best. Trust us to curate our own dashboards, as we have been doing. This user control is what makes Tumblr unique and appealing. Take that away, and you betray our trust - trust that has been built up over decades.

Keep Tumblr as a safe refuge for all the ex-Twitter and ex-Redditor migrants it has been in the past. Keep the features that these migrated users came here for: a unique, user-curated dash that isn't controlled by any algorithm, that trusts its own users to filter out what maturity level they want to see, and that doesn't require the collection of personal data in order to enjoy everything the platform has to offer.

very interesting! and very glad you found a term that helped you understand yourself, that's brilliant! i will say personally i do consider myself very much a man still, and i enjoy being as such (and have to work harder than i'd like to be treated as one lol), i just have a slightly funkier relationship with it than some other people do. but i'm still very happy that term exists for everyone who needs it, that's super cool!
