Lana came out as a woman after Speed Racer in 2008, and Lily eight years later after the release of Jupiter Ascending (2016), so if you see original home copies of the Matrix (pre-2008), they are referred to as the Wachowski Brothers on it. It was a branding thing, like the Coen Brothers. That’s how they were called, because they were still presenting as male to the industry and the industry sold them as a creative unit.

I remember after Lana came out, the boxes switched to calling them just The Wachowskis, so I imagine now it’s the Wachowski Sisters.

So, yes, they’ve always been sisters, but if you didn’t know that, it’s not your fault. It’s been a long process and I’m glad they did it on their terms in their time.

Before Lily came out but after Lana did they were often credited as The Wachowskis siblings. So some places may still refer to them as such.

I was actually unaware that Lily was also trans so thank you for that info!

Work in progress. Haven't been able to do much today bc it's a high pain day. I definitely took my breakthrough AND regular pain medication today. Normally I really try to take less than I am prescribed when it comes to my breakthrough meds. Like if I took the amount I'm prescribed, I would have ran out last night but I'm good until Wednesday or Thursday. But pain is like any other symptom and it deserves to be treated and sometimes that treatment is opioids. If you have a problem with that, I hope you also have a problem with diabetics. After all, in the wrong hands, insulin can also kill people. * I use a multifaceted approach to pain, including meditation, distraction, pacing, biofeedback, physical therapy along with opioids and non-opiate medications which I recommend to any chronic pain patient

I love when people try to put their agendas on other people. Friends, do I generally talk like a bit of a robot, being very intentional with my words, being genuine when in fact people think I'm being passive aggressive. I know some of y'all dealt with that before you figured out my autism makes me blunt as fuck and have no filter but also lets you know I'm being 1000% genuine and you know when I'm pissed with someone. I don't exactly do subtle well do I. Allyson*, I don't know you that well, I was looking for other autistic people (and people who colour) to follow but apparently I'm not your style? It's ok, not everyone gets my style of communication and I have no interest in speaking with someone when it becomes work instead of coversation. If you see a bogey man in everyone you meet, I feel very sorry for you. I feel sorry for the people who are being genuine (who actually give a fuck) but you are the one missing out on friendships. Trust and believe, if I was trying to hurt your feelings, you would be crying by now. I don't do passive aggressive. If I had ill will towards you, you would know it. Hello my beloveds

I'm so sorry I've been away from you all, I hope you are all still your glorious and beautiful selves! I became disillusioned with the fandom for a period of time, the blatant racism, mistreatment of queens and gate keeping what is and isn't drag really got to me. Then the daughter of my heart died May 15th, 2019 and it's been a difficult time. She was my main encourager of my writing and it's just been difficult to face my keyboard without her support. I haven't watched the past few seasons of drag race and the last season of all stars but I DO hope to catch up once I move at the beginning of March. I'm sorry for leaving you, I may be slightly more broken than I was before but the superglue is holding most of me together again. And the drugs....definitely the drugs too. With all due respect, why r u going out when a) u seem to have an illness of some kind (whether or not it's covid, it might still be contagious) and B) I see somewhere where it said you were an at risk person? I know it's difficult but going out to do nonessential things like going for dinner (pick it up or delivery) or to play table games a bunch of other people have touched just seems like a weird risk to take. What's wrong with just staying home? The pandemic isn't over just bc ur over it!

Nobody has touched the games but us, and nobody goes to Alex’s lab space but us… as for going out for a meal we were supporting a local business. It might not have been the best idea, but I’m not contagious. I have chronic illness and symptoms very day to day.

1) That's funny because when people say "muggle sick", they usually mean sick ON TOP of any chronic illness. Isn't that the construct in which you usually use it from what I can see by perusing your post history. I don't know, I just started following you. I'm also autistic.

2) A person cannot know if they are contagious or not if you were using the term "muggle sick" to imply that you were sick from a bacteria/virus rather than an existing chronic illness.

3) supporting local business is GREAT!! Most have great take out programs! I would suggest that if you are "at risk."
