This is how I feel when I deal with Boomers and Gen X who can't live without their cell phones and seem to have forgotten how they did tasks without the phones. How do you become a functional adult without this technology, and then just forget how to survive without it?

Oh boy is photographing from a canoe HARD. Not to mention there's not a ton of light in the cypresses so my shutter speed was a lower than it should have been AND my fstop was wide open at 4. Difficulty aside, I really think this image captured the atmosphere of the afternoon - warm sunlight, and green haze from the canopy.

That thing where flowers were planted long ago in what is now woods and whoever planted them is probably long gone but they go on blooming every year among the trees because that’s what they do.

I started this back in April, when the cherry trees were blooming, and only finished it recently! That tree and all those flowers took quite a while to paint, it was definitley a challenge Hope you like!
