if i dont respond to a message from you i can basically guarantee its not because i dislike you. im just getting attacked by imps and shit all the time genuinely.
Fiona didn’t hate Mickey. I don’t think she even disliked him.
Honestly I’ve always interpreted them as being quite cordial but I’ve interpreted Mick as being cordial with all the Gallaghers. I mean that may not be everyone’s belief but it’s certainly mine.
But for Fiona, I don’t think she hated him. She wasn’t ever really opposed to them. She wasn’t too bothered when Mickey was staying with them in season four. She seemed fond of him in season five. And even moments like “I didn’t”-in all fairness to her, she saw Mickey bolt out that room after they saw Ian, and she already knew he was wigged out by hospitals. She kind of expected it because that’s all she knows-someone gets close to the Gallagher family, they leave. Someone sees the crazy, like Frank and Monica, they leave.
But before that they were cordial, she asked if he was okay after they visited Ian, she knew Ian would be happy to see him, she asked where he was at the pool party, she recognised that it was difficult for Mickey to see Ian in the pysch ward, she seemed proud when he called Ian his boyfriend. She always seemed tolerant of him, if not quite fond.
Her priority was always Ian though. Always. Liking someone doesn’t mean caring about them deeply. Fiona liked Mickey and maybe she started to care about him, but between him and Ian it was always going to be Ian. That’s her baby brother.
And when she says “Mickey would set a match to it” she was right. Mickey was an escaped convict on the run, that wasn’t the life Ian needed. She wasn’t talking about the Mickey who kissed Ian goodnight and stocked up on vitamins, she was talking about a man on the run for attempted murder. She was right.
She seemed happy when they got back together in prison. She didn’t hate him.
I’m tired of people acting like she was a jealous bitch or just hated Mickey. She was being protective because Ian’s her baby. She raised him.
wanna hang out [remembers it's rude to put expectations on people] it's cool if not [remembers people like to know they're wanted] but I'd really like it if you did [remembers selfishness is bad] we can do whatever you want though [remembers that handing someone a blank canvas isn't as effective as providing a suggestion to bounce ideas off of] like sucking each others fingers for example
Ok like. Imagine life without ads. You wake up, check your messages across a variety of apps, no ads. You get up and put on the tv while you prep your breakfast, no ads. Maybe you drive somewhere and switch on the radio, no ads. Maybe you drive a long distance, yet somehow, not a single billboard on your path. You pick up a newspaper or magazine to pass the time, no advertisements only articles. You turn on your game console, the home screen is just about your games, no ads to buy more. You open a streaming app, you don't pay extra for no ads, there's just no ads ever.
Think about how much of your time is spent looking at ads. "Download ublock" yeah I know, I have. But that doesn't change that the world is covered with endless advertising. Imagine never seeing that again. How much better our lives would be.
Sounds like heaven

sometimes im shocked at how much i Dont miss certain people like damn i could have sworn you were more important
if you want to dress gay but aren’t sure how, you need to focus more on finding clothes you actually like and that make you feel good when you look in the mirror. develop your style independently of what you think looks gayest and trust the homosexuality will follow. it goes where confidence and self acceptance are
“Trust the homosexuality will follow” is the best piece of fashion advice I’ve gotten.
Have you ever noticed how straight woman tend to romanticize yaoi, and completely ignore yuri? Yuri is literally so underrepresented in fandoms and as a lesbian it kills me.
Also the obsession straight woman have with gay men is lowkey weird, reminds me of straight men wanting to 'turn lesbiand straight.'
then YOU write more yuri. I never say “yuri is bad”. all I say is that I enjoy yaoi, and therefore I read, write and talk about yaoi on my own blog.
if you like yuri, then YOU read, write and talk about yuri. nobody is stopping you.
I am a cis woman, and I am obsessed with my mlm ship — because that’s my passion and my source of comfort. I write because I love my mlm ship, and because these fictional men make me happy (and no, I don’t want them straight, I want them gay and in love with each other). I am not going to apologize for doing whatever makes ME happy for myself and my own enjoyment. I am not here for a stranger’s approval. sorry if you find it weird I guess? I literally don’t know who you are, and a stranger’s opinion is not something I care about. especially when they come into MY house and start telling me what I should or should not do and enjoy.
I’ll continue reading, writing, enjoying and talking about yoai. and you can’t stop me.
again, fanfiction is not an act of activism. do whatever makes you happy, whatever turns you on, instead of trying to shame others for enjoying the thing they enjoy instead of the thing you enjoy.
i bet being treated properly by your parents your whole life feels sooooo good

it should be illegal for people to be in the kitchen at the same time as me
“sorry I can’t go out tonight. I have therapy.”
the therapy:
In our choppy, efficient algorithmic world, it’s more important than ever to be slow. Listening to podcasts or videos on 1x speed. Or songs that are 7 min long. If you make art, do it SLOWLYYY. If you write, make that chapter long and yappy. Take one month to finish that drawing or painting. In this world that doesn’t want you to spend any time thinking or doing anything, taking your time is almost an act of resistance. Exist slowly!!!!
i want a gf who's gonna be with me how mandy milkovich was with lip gallagher except we're both girls. not everyday you're blessed with a psychotic gf who will run over your ex for you

For the record, if you say the straight (“walk straight, aim straight, just to get this straight” etc) in front of your queer person (be it friend, partner, family member etc) makes a gay joke, you walked into that one. It’s a canon event, this just happens now.
I was walking around in circles one time and a friend asked why not just walk straight. Without missing a beat I said “cause I’m not straight”. He knew he walked into that one-
"lock in" is probably one of the most important phrases to enter the public lexicon in the 2020s
