I understand why you weren't really feeling Season 2 of Zenless Zone Zero at first. Was there a point in 2.6 that made you realize "Okay I am digging this"?
2.6 and on in general just felt better. Especially compared to 2.5 which was just a long slog. It didn't really help that I really don't care for the GFE that they did with YSG.

I was genuinely burned with a lot of the Season 2 characters pre 2.6. I only really liked 4/5ths of spook shack and then maybe Orphie. I was really worried about Cissia, but like, she was one of the only characters who I had a bad impression at the start, that flipped to being an absolute fav. Her and Billy being two dumbass siblings is one of my favorite things in existence.

Anby: "Well."
A slight pause followed as Billy was approached by his partner.
Anby: "It would appear your upgrades you mentioned came in."

Anby gave it a slight pause, recognizing the inspiration for his new line of gear. Where most would have considered his decision odd. She was perhaps in a unique position, as his partner, and as someone who fought to let go of her past to understand where he was coming from.
Anby: "It suits you. Uniquely... Billy."
She could see that Billy was utterly delighted by her response.
Billy: "See! I knew that if someone was going to get it, it was going to be you Anby!" He snapped his fingers, "Oh I can't wait to show you my motorcycle, you're going to love it!"
Anby: "Of course. You always were one to look towards the future, rather than the past." Something she wished she could say about herself. But, she'd gotten there, thanks to the help of her friends.
Nicole: "CAN YOU TWO STOP FLIRTING AND HELP ALREADY?! ALSO BILLY I KNOW HOW MUCH THAT COST!"
Billy: "Oh crud..."
Anby: "Come on, I suppose the others need help."
Billywould have to deal with the consequences later, for now! It was time to help their friends.

Anby: "Right."
With that the duo turned to face the hordes of Ethereals approaching them.

Also man, Billy and Cissia are an amazing duo. And I'm glad that from the AoD on the chapters have felt better.

I'm not sorry
A thing I love about palworld that a lot of streamers go "rawr, survival of the fittest!" And they're dead wrong.
And the game is at its core a game about how you can't do this on your own.
There are so many things you just cannot do. You cannot run the furnace, you cannot run the water wheel, you cannot swim that far, you cannot open some chests, you cannot make things at a reasonable rate. You will, if alone, perish.
And then they try to make it about slavery. The harder you push, the worse the conditions, the more you go down that route, the worse everything actually works.
You need to take care of them and in turn they will take care of you. Thats the thing. Thats always the thing. You build your community and they will support you. Thats the core of the game.
