I finished this piece so late last night I never got a chance to post it, but here’s my drawing for Day 2 of the JeanMarco Summer Solstice Week! I honestly had no plans for this prompt, then it just clicked once I was done at work. And honestly, it’s one of my favorite pieces!

His boyfriend took him on a date for his birthday and they stopped by a photo booth.

we yes we re-read this did every single summer for vibes. I've sketched so many scenes from this and there are still a hundred more I want to.

Every time I have really horrible art block(which i have for like a month), I refer back to fanfic scenes as fuel

I also saw someone the other day do "warmup" sketching? The concept absolutely works and makes sense, I just don't have time to fully warm up with these practices and still have free time to do the actual sketching.

i think I'll add the line work in my studying routines, but otherwise, basic skeletal practice is nothing new. Working up to dynamic angles, though, as you can see on the JM stretches above I was struggling like crazy on back head angles

P.S. sorry not sorry I can only draw shirtless men... namely Jean.
