My Happy Place

I have this crazy intense feeling of being unbalanced and I think it’s cause I’ve caught a friend in a lie.

Not a big one but one that is reminiscent of past lies I’ve heard. Yesterday I made tentative plans to hang out with said friends and he seemed completely down. I texted him today a few hours after work asking where he wanted to meet. He responded an hour later saying he couldn’t do tonight he had taken a nap and was too tired, just wanted to go to sleep.

I have literally no proof other than an impending feeling of dread in my stomach.

A few hours later I asked what he was up to and he said just watching YouTube videos. He’s usually one to respond within 5 min and all of gods responses lately have been upwards of 20min. He’s only sending black screens as pictures... idk it’s all just completely out of character for him.

It feels like when your friends make plans and then didn’t invite you and you found out from seeing them all tagged in pictures on Facebook and you can’t help but feel betrayed and as if you have 0 self worth.
