Description — Illustration project developed for Our Tales, an Australian platform that showcases local micro-entrepreneurs and community-based businesses.

The work consisted of creating a set of brand characters to represent different business categories within the platform. Each character was designed in a doodle-style illustration and paired with a companion creature or mascot to reinforce its identity.

The system includes characters representing food & bakery, experiences (music & photography), design & decoration, and beauty & health, creating a cohesive and playful visual language for the brand.

Description — Illustration system developed for GrabTap, a mobile rewards platform where users earn points by playing games that can later be redeemed for gift cards from platforms such as Amazon, Google Play, and Xbox.

The project explores a playful visual language inspired by 3D renders but fully illustrated in 2D, combining grain textures, soft gradients, lighting effects, and exaggerated forms to create a lightweight “fake-3D” aesthetic. The system was designed to visually represent the platform’s core concept: playing games, earning rewards, and transforming gameplay into real-world value.

Description — Personal typographic exploration created as part of the 36 Days of Type challenge. The project focused on experimenting with different letterforms and visual styles.

The series includes letters A–L, developed as a creative exercise to explore composition, structure, and expressive typography.

PAPA JOHN’S — branded streaming campaign

Description — Concept proposal developed for a branded streaming campaign promoting Papa John’s through creator broadcasts.

Similar to other brand collaborations on the platform, the idea was to translate the campaign into a SuperTheme, allowing streamers to visually integrate the brand into their livestream environments through scenes, alerts, and stream graphics.

The visual proposal was created using flat vector illustration with grain textures to match the energetic and playful tone commonly used in streaming campaigns. Although the concept was explored internally, the proposal was not ultimately produced.

Description — Illustration and visual concept developed for the stream alerts of ElRubius, one of the most influential Spanish-speaking streamers and content creators in the world, with millions of followers across platforms.

In livestreams, alerts are animated visual notifications that appear on screen when viewers interact with the channel—such as subscribing, donating, or following. These animations are a key part of the streaming experience, helping creators celebrate audience interactions in real time.

The project involved designing the character MadKat, the channel’s mascot inspired by Rubius’ real cat, Wilson. The work includes character development, exploratory sketches, and animated storyboard concepts showing how MadKat would react in different alert scenarios. These animated sketches served as visual guides for the final motion pieces used in the live stream.

Description — Visual concept developed for an Art Creative SuperTheme, a complete streaming package designed to be offered as part of the platform’s creator tools.

In the streaming ecosystem, a SuperTheme is a coordinated set of visual assets—such as overlays, alerts, panels, and interface graphics—that allows streamers to build a cohesive visual identity for their channel.

This concept was created specifically for creators who stream their artistic process, a popular category on Twitch. The visuals were inspired by sketchbooks, loose lines, and the spontaneous energy of creative workspaces. The exploration was developed as a storyboard-style proposal to guide potential animation, with GIF previews illustrating how the theme could behave in motion.

Description — Series of illustrations developed as part of the in-house creative work for the platform. StreamElements provides tools and services for live streamers, helping creators grow and monetize their content.

The collection includes designs created for annual employee T-shirts and special edition apparel distributed during company events such as TwitchCon. Each illustration translates elements of streaming culture and the platform’s visual identity into wearable graphics.

The designs maintain the recognizable brand palette while experimenting with extended color variations and new tonal combinations to create fresh visual moods without losing the essence of the brand.

HULU LIVE SPORTS — branded streaming campaign

Description — Branded streaming campaign developed to promote live sports on Hulu, the U.S. streaming platform known for offering TV series, films, and live television, including sports broadcasts.

The campaign was designed for distribution through creators using the StreamElements platform. Instead of traditional ads, the brand takeover was integrated directly into livestream environments by providing streamers with a full branded SuperTheme based on the campaign.

The asset package included Starting Soon, Be Right Back, and Stream Ending scenes, Twitch panels, alerts, and stream takeovers, allowing creators to visually transform their streams with Hulu’s campaign graphics while promoting the new live sports feature to their audiences.

Description — Illustrated alert package developed as an internal asset for the platform. StreamElements provides creators with customizable visual tools—such as alerts, overlays, and tipping systems—that appear on screen during livestreams to celebrate audience interactions.

The Japan Power pack was inspired by Japanese pop culture aesthetics, combining bold characters and expressive visuals designed to appeal to a wide range of creators regardless of their channel theme.

The alert set includes animations for common livestream interactions: - Cheer — when viewers support the channel using Bits. - Follow — when a new viewer follows the channel. - Gift Sub — when a user gifts subscriptions to other viewers. - Host — when another streamer hosts the channel on their stream. - Merch — when viewers purchase merchandise. - Raid — when another streamer sends their audience to the channel. - Sub — when a viewer subscribes to support the creator. - Tip — when viewers donate directly.

The project was developed as a fully illustrated storyboard to guide the final animations. Additionally, a short frame-by-frame traditional animation was created to function as a transition between the first and final frames of the alerts.

The project was developed through Photoshop photomontage and visual composition, exploring a thematic environment inspired by tabletop gaming culture. The visuals were designed as a storyboard proposal to guide the final animation and motion implementation.

Description — Illustration project created for the development of a Tip Jar widget, an interactive element used in livestreams to visualize viewer donations in a more engaging and playful way.

In the streaming ecosystem, a tip jar refers to a digital donation system where viewers can financially support creators during a live broadcast. Instead of appearing as a simple notification, a tip jar widget visually accumulates donations in real time—often represented through animated containers, progress bars, or interactive illustrations—making the act of supporting the creator more visible and rewarding for the audience.

For this project, multiple illustration styles were explored to ensure the widget could appeal to a wide variety of creators and channel aesthetics. The visual explorations include different illustrative approaches and graphic languages designed to function as animated elements within the donation interface.

Illustrated alert package created for ImperialHal, widely recognized as one of the most successful professional players in the competitive scene of Apex Legends and a world champion with TSM (esports organization).

In livestreams, alerts are animated visual notifications that appear on screen when viewers interact with the channel—such as subscribing, donating, or following. These animations play an important role in the streaming experience, celebrating community interactions in real time.

The project consisted of a fully illustrated set of alerts inspired by visual elements from Apex Legends. Several animations feature iconic objects and references from the game, while others incorporate stylized versions of ImperialHal himself and his partner as characters within the alerts.

The package was very well received by the community and ultimately led ImperialHal to migrate his streaming setup to StreamElements after nearly a year of the platform trying to bring him onboard. The full production process took approximately two months.
