Introducing internationAL! It’s like Countryhumans, but for cool kids.

internationAL is an adult comedy cartoon about countries as people, each with their own distinct design.

THE CAST:

United States - a bigoted asshole with a New Jersey accent.

Canada - USA’s friendly brother who enjoys a good game of hockey.

Mexico - USA’s disgruntled Latino neighbour.

Great Britain - An over-the-hill ex-coloniser who dreams of his past achievements.

France - A chainsmoking snob and occasional coward.

Germany - An average businessman ashamed of his younger self.

Italy - a feisty artist and chef with a heart of gold.

Japan - a mild mannered dude with an occasional wicked streak.

China - an authoritarian who hates everything.

Russia - a real nogoodnik with way too much power.

South Korea - a liberated young woman struggling to combat her evil twin brother.

Poland - a chipper guy with some minor Jerry Lewis characteristics.

Australia - a free spirited guy who fears nothing.

Saudi Arabia - a corrupt religious preacher who thinks he’s better than everyone else.

Turkey - a ladies’ man, or at least he thinks he is.

South Africa - a well respected man with an appreciation for nature.

Brazil - a strong independent woman with no tolerance for bullshit.

Argentina - an eccentric man with some opinionated tendencies.

The finished series will be a delightful stop motion animation that picks up where Rocky and Bullwinkle left off. Featuring beautiful hand painted cel animation and a classic cartoon style, it’s sure to stand out amongst its contemporaries.

Sometimes I just stare at the document in wonder. I have no idea how to pace out a minute of script, let alone 5 minutes. I run on hopes and dreams, math is not a core value in my brain. Which tends to be problematic, as timing is very math-based: calculating frames per second, pacing each shot, "distance" calculations for perspective, and not to mention the music that goes in each scene!

I tend to eyeball everything.

anyways, this is a monk character with a centipede friend who i decided should have a sickass animal-imitating martial arts style for her centipede friend. the idea of a centipede martial arts form that focuses on an overwhelming flurry of kicks, appropriate to its hundred-legged inspiration, was really fun to me, so !
