I am looking into new writing styles that are out of my comfort zone. this is a good explanation of the difference between horror and thriller.

For all out there who are at start of programming and game developing, I present you incredibly helpful training site! http://www.learnpython.org/en/Welcome This site is an interactive site to learn basics of most programming languages. It teaches, lets you practice and shows proper ways to code. Best site for beginners by a mile so far! Anyone who wishes to tackle the famous C++ later on, is recommended to learn the simpler Python Language first. Timeline of what to practise and what order UDK/JAVA
Phew! I have finally managed to come up more coherent order of what to learn, when and after what. Using tools as UnrealDevelopmentKit, JavaDevelopmentkit ( <-- not completely neccessary if you use Eclipse instead ) and Eclipse IDE Java developer kit, i can practise what is neccessary to gain needed knowledge in "Game Developing". Remember, all sorts of games ( Android, 2D, side scroller, etc ) are possible with UDK. First of all is to download the UnrealDevelopmentKit, get the feel of the program and use bucket loads of free amazing tutorial videos of Youtube. This will help you get started with basics of UDK. Secondly get to know the basics of computer language. Java is excellent since according to Epic Games ( Guys who made UDK ) it sweeps very close to UnrealScripting. Helps you create custom content, create those unique gaming styles ( as mentioned above ) and much more!
Here's a very good tutorial video to give much insight on Java in short amount of time!
Then comes practicing this all to nice level! After these basic things are somewhat at your hands, you can grab a hold of more detailed way to use UDK, untill Scripting and Java skills match with needed level with making games in UDK. Then i recommend seeing these guys of 3DBuzz all material on excellent tutorials how to use everything in UDK. Some of their videos might cost, but its worth it! Digital Tutors also offer great material to learn about UDK! ( also costs a bit, but hey, why not! ) Most of all, have fun and dream of what you could create with all this! You got to want to do it! Learning Java - Destroying worlds
My very first attempt at learning Java ended up to utter catastrophy. I managed to stop all Java programs from starting on my computer with my code and made registry lose the track where Java was installed. It took me hours of hair pulling and troubleshooting to get Java even to work on my computer. But my program still said "Hello World!" *facepalms* Way of a programmer is rather eventful! Work of learning basics of computer language is the abc of game developing(no pun intended) :D Unreal engines scripts are heavily based on java, the clean computer language. The very basis of only writing the simplest commands is where to start understanding the basis of language.
Some basic practising of it above through trial and error. Believe me it’s not easy even at start!

Ultra organised thought processes here! This a quick list I have made about where we need to start with our concepts. We will be needing to invest a large amount of our time learning how to use the Unreal Engine so that we can better understand how we can create our gaming world.
I am sitting on a mound of potential story Ideas which we can use to mock up many different situations and render emotions. Its going to be a tough haul but hopefully we will progress and learn quickly.
In the next few weeks I would like to dress this page appropriately and hopefully have a nice little brand Identity to get us motivated.
I will be posting little bits of inspiration here and there to show you our likes and dislikes.

Beginning of game developing through unreal engine at its baby steps! This is where great fun things begin! Yet to learn: everything about UDK programs, basics of c++ aaaand smoothen it all out to small but working games. ( in picture, learning UDK maps creating )
I only a month ago quit my college, took holiday to do all the things which truly matter. Painting, composing music ( can be found here in tumbler with name “jonibluesberry” ) and begin this massive project of creating games in team with Kelly!
I should have started this long time ago and you all shall hear of us a lot yet!
