These drafts are from back in January, so I don't remember much of the initial process. I only knew I wanted to make another Underground level, and I wanted to minimise testing elements (like buttons and cubes, that sort of thing.)
I forgot to take dev photos in between these two points, so now you get to flip between the two nicely-aligned start and finish screenshots.
One thing about Old Aperture theming that I've found a bit difficult to wrangle has to be lighting. It's easy to add too many lights or not enough. Lighting is also a very important part of guiding a player's attention, so too much or too little can leave someone with uncertainty of where exactly they should be looking.
