Everybody's so creative but literally like you guys are so talented and cool!

Like I explained what it meant to her and she still was fine with it, she was more focused on telling me that I should be focusing more on my college work and owning a house in my future. I told her that I didn't wanna get married or start a family and she said I don't have to do it if I don't want to.

The Lachiusa is one of my favourite obscure musicals, I have listened to Lippa's first but it didn't quite strike me in a way that Lachiusa's did

Because what do you mean there are two seperate musicals about the exact same poem that came out at the same time that nobody really talks about all that much?

Like there are so many characters in this, you can either go wild at the party like in Lippa's or see the wild partygoers like in Lachiusa's (psst... the better version btw)

This isn't really much of a review but more so me trying to get my thoughts out on these two musicals I like and comparing the two (Spoiler free btw)

I will say that I do favor the Lachiusa version (the one of the left) over the Lippa version as all the party goes get to have a chance in the spotlight with their own songs while Lippa only seems to focus on the main four (Queenie, Burr's, Black and Kate) except with the party goes as ensemble but both musicals do have merit! I would say that the Lippas wild party does have an easier score, more catchy and singable songs as oppose to Lachiusa's which chose to lean more into the 1920s jazz style of music befitting the era the story takes place in.

The encores slime tutorial production I saw had Queenie be played by Jasmine Amy-Rogers who was much lighter-skinned than the actress playing Kate, the thought of Queenie being a white-passing woman who wore a blonde wig and had her face "tinted mask of snow" be metaphorically scrubbed away to contrast with her partner Burrs, a violent white man who performs as a "clown" in m1nstrelsy is quite a swing for the fences. These musicals aren't for everyone as both productions are very raunchy (there's quite literally an 0rgy in the original poem) so there's quite a lot of sexual jokes and references made.

We really shouldn't be comparing these two as both creators had no idea the other was creating a musical of the same poem but I will give Lachiusa some credit for actually trying to incorporate some pretty heavy themes into his work that people tend to shy away from when talking of the time period, not to bash on Lippa but I do think there's a reason why Lippa's version is the most produced due to simpler score and casting requirements.

Okay well my teacher told me and our class that we had to do powerpoint presentations on our favourite movies and I chose Little Shop of Horrors! I gave it 4 stars and I even told her to play Mean Green Mother on the board, I even got to share the fact that Audrey 2 was a really realistic looking puppet and put lots of facts in my presentation!

I wonder if there are any other flawed Addison's out there, ones that don't fit the mold of what an Addison is supposed to be or look like? Maybe if Spamton saw that he wasn't the only one who felt like they didn't belong, he wouldn't feel as alone but that wasn't the case ig 😔

' Mother of Paradise '

Mother Toriel from the Dulentear! AU is the Queen of Paradise, one of the eight realms in the world of Dulentear. She's more like a morally-questionable goddess compared to the other 7 Deltarulers being tyrannical dictators.

The strange black markings across her neck are unhealed scars from when The Knight decapitated her and is also why her goat ears are tied with ribbon.
