Also trying to get her to sleep in the cot after co-sleeping. No idea what to do yet again.

Iyla is 7 weeks old on Sunday and I was just wondering how far you can backdate both claims? do you backdate it from her DOB?

Our beautiful baby girl

I looked after her for 9 months in my tummy and I'm going to look after her for the rest of her life. She loves Mummy and Daddy to pieces and we love her even more!

She is wonderful and makes everything worth it. She's the making of us and we will never let her forget that.

She is currently asleep in her cot, we're trying to get her routine sorted and make her friends with the cot. We have to whisper the word cot around her because we swear she is aware of what it is!

She is a funny baby, if you ask her 'is that your bum?' she will give you the biggest grin ever and it will melt your heart.

We can't believe that in 4 days time our baby Iyla will be a month old!

It's gone so quickly?!

She's sleeping so much better, picking up a routine, still getting constipation but she's starting to smile and she laughs so much in her sleep, its lovely to hear her giggle and chuckle.

These are my two favorite people.

I love this little girl more than I could ever imagine, becoming a parent is the most amazing thing. Caring and loving her is a great feeling, she is wonderful and is going to have such an amazing life.

We love her more than ever, she is a funny little baby and everything is going so well. Giving birth to her was the most amazing experience ever and I will never forget any minute of it.

Daddy and Bub out on their own for the first time, leaving me at home in an attempt to relax and chill for a bit.

Got lots of things I want to do and somehow fit a an hours sleep or so in there.

I really miss the whole experience of giving birth and going through labour. It felt so good and there was so much love in the room and the adrenaline was amazing. I know it sounds weird but it really is true for me.

Having a home birth was amazing, the living room was set up lovely. Dark, candles, relaxing music and just chilling with my partner and the midwife who I will always be friends with (even on Facebook!)
