weird how people think certain things bleong to only certain cultures. like ‘oh, these people have bagpipes? must have met the scotts!” or “these people obviously got inspired to make their dresses like this from how spanish fiesta dresses are!” like idk how to articulate myself correctly but an idea does not appear to only one person in only one place only one time. balts had bagpipes and slavs had veyr wide light ruffled dresses and vikings had dances that were done mainly with feet and its not weird that they have that as their own traditions and not as “borrowed from (x) popular culture traditions”
