The Mbappé special? Love, love, love. Dictator Mbappe? Gets me every time.

I have seen at least three different Vozinha edits. Like, yes! Yes please! Yes to all of it.

Not to mention the number of memes that have come out flaming Argentina, poking fun at Ronaldo, laughing at everyone and everything.

I binged watched all three movies and it's killing me so here are my thoughts.

I understand that there is meant to be some call back to these characters' parents, but I wish they were more creative. Maleficent's daughter's name is Mal. Jafar's son's name is Jay. Evil Queen's daughter's name is Evie (which, given Jay and Mal, I assume Evie is a play on the word "Evil". 'Evil Queen' is a title not a name, so this one irks me the most). Of the four main characters, Carlos as Cruella de Vile's son is probably the best in terms of not being a nickname of their parent.

Those four characters are the main ones. The other side characters have slightly better names as they're not just nicknames for their parents. Audrey as Aurora's daughter. Jane as the Fairy Godmother's daughter is really good; maybe meant to be a little plain, pretty generic, it matches the way we are originally introduced to her. Benjamin as Belle and the Beast's son is fun, all B names. I'm not sure if the Beast is ever referenced by a given name.

Uma as Ursula's daughter was fine. Harry Hook as Captain Hook's son is fine. Dizzy as Drizella's daughter is cute; I think it matches her name. Celia as Dr Facilier's daughter makes me squint; given the other patterns, I assume 'Celia' is based on 'cilier' but that means her full name is Celia Facilier. I would have rather they give her a French name and have her go by Ms Facilier? Or a stage name like her dad did. She could have shown up with a deck of tarot cards and announced herself as The Shadow Girl or something.

Basically. When the first movie begins Prince Ben is dating Princess Audrey. The four children of villains (Mal, Jay, Evie, Carlos) show up to their boarding school.

Ben was spelled into being in love with Mal, but the spell is lifted almost immediately and he continues dating and romancing her. Which means he dumps Audrey within a week or two of Mal's arrival.

My issue with this is the speed in which he dropped Audrey.

He was spelled into loving with Mal and that's why he dumped Audrey the way he did. Understandable. But Ben and Audrey grew up together. And there was no instance (even after the spell was lifted) in which he checked on Audrey, asked how she was doing, tried to befriend her again, or anything like that. No explanation. Audrey and Ben grew up together. They're all ~16 at this point, so they'd been together for 16 years, dated for an unknown amount of time, and he dumps her and they basically never speak again.

What?

Audrey hated Mal, yes. Audrey actively antagonized Mal, also yes. But Ben didn't seem to ever have the thought of "Hey, my childhood best friend is upset, maybe I should check on her and make sure she's okay."

Audrey didn't really have friends outside of him. Shouldn't he have known that? She snapped at the other girls, intimidated them, demanded they listen to her. And Ben, as a gracious leader, didn't say anything.

It reminds me a little of Adrien and Chloe from Miraculous Ladybug. Was Adrien into Chloe? No. Did he agree with her usually? Also no. But for a while he really tried to help her, be there for her, and tried to convince her to be better, even while he was making other friends and ultimately drifting away from her. Prince Ben did no such thing.

But also, to have pulled the cards I have (both for myself and others), and for them to be so accurate, it's hard to believe it's ALL just coincidence?

There are over 70 cards, over 150 meanings (given each card has an Upright and Reversed meaning)

And while some cards are *similar*, none of them are *the same*.

If you're doing a three card spread, the chance you pull the card you do, and in that position(upright vs reversed), is 0.64%, 0.65%, and 0.66% respectively. (1/156 x 100, 1/154 x 100, 1/152 x 100).

There may be something to be said about confirmation bias and belief persistence, but the probabilities are just so low?

And, I grant you, some of the cards are maybe similar enough that you could argue they're interchangeable (I don't agree with that, personally). For example, the knights of each suit are messengers; they kinda represent the core of their suit in goal-driven action. Maybe you could pull any four of them (any four of them UPRIGHT) and get the same message of "it's time to act'.

Even then? There's only a 2.3% chance you pull one of four similar cards.

So to pull the 'right' cards, or ones that are consistently 'scary accurate', is statistically improbable. And one could say it's all just coincidence, but how many coincidences does it take before it's a pattern?
