Oh so first no paubbey date and now no pauloxdavid either??! Paulodaisy only disappoints....
Listen to the Duckula theme song, it's a good intro
Been reading tamberlane, I like the art, curious as to where it's going
Also curious about this particular line, was this a slip from the author or like, is the religion canon in the setting?

this is the funniest fucking thing detective conan has ever aired
I have to keep going can't stop sorry
Ok, so, like in general the gender stuff in wha doesn't bother me because it's not something I think it is trying to do something about, that's not what it is about.
On the other hand I can let it bother me in ichi the witch because a huge thing regarding it is the gender stuff, when the topic comes up in the series I can feel it's intentional, when it comes up in wha I feel it's by accident.
For example how a lot of the important figures in wha are men, when that comes up I don't think the story itself is trying to do something with it, so anything of the like is unintentional from my understanding but also idk, I just started reading it this year, so I don't know what other discussions there are about it
I feel like I sound like a wha hater because I've been complaining a lot when I talk about it oops, but I don't hate it, I look forward to it and have been enjoying the anime a lot
Ok now to complain, but I guess this is more about fandom stuff.
Since I'm up to date I've been stumbling on discussions that make me go like hmmmm idk, in particular regarding gender in the series.
Personally of what has been shown so far I don't think it's something shirahama is really interested in addressing, the one time it has been relevant was during luluci's backstory, but I don't think it's something that is considered in the world overal, witch society seems to be pretty unisex, from the way they dress to the people in power (even though from what has been shown the non magic people seem to be in a patriarcal one) but it's not something the series will do something about.
I feel the same way about race, there are characters of color but it is to show how diverse the society in it is, their race won't really be addressed.
Something like that.
Complain under cut but not really about the series.
The thing im complaining about under cut

Back in the motorcity days there was a blog that I visited now and then that had some weird discussion about kane, the main antagonist of it, said person I think was a fan of his?? and gave him racist headcanons, as in, made him a racist, and I just don't understand that line of thought? why are you giving this character you like weird racist hc's?
This person that I stumbled talking about Tartah that way reminded me of that, why are you giving this kid misogyny headcanons?? ????
