I’ve been away for some time (again). Somehow, since I don’t post as much about my WIPs, I don’t find enough interesting stuff to write about anymore 😅
Anyways, I figured, it is time again for some life updates.
Where did I leave you off? I don’t know anymore. So I will start somewhere and if you are confused, I am deeply sorry 😬
Let’s start with the most interesting part….
Project Rosary: Silver Edition currently sits at 96k words and has not progressed since Summer last year… I originally thought I would finish draft 1 by the end of 2025, but a lot of personal stuff got in the way (my university studies got delayed by some organizational problems on terms of the university, I could not start my bachelors thesis and lost a half a year because of that, so that was really stressful).
But, I am currently working on it to get back to it and hopefully start writing again soon ☺️
So, what else has happened in the past few months? Let’s continue to the second most interesting thing!
————— 🌻 Project Virtual Reality
Yes, you read that right. Virtual Reality. Since I finally started my bachelors thesis (for anyone who hasn’t read some of my posts before: Hi, I am a computer science student specializing in Scientific Visualization and Explainable AI), I am currently developing a VR application for data visualization.
For this, I am using Unreal Engine 5.7 and many, many tutorials on YouTube 😅 But the goal is to create a live rendering application for several data visualization options for AI explanations with a real time application of an AI via Python (for anyone who is interested in coding ✌🏼).
I am at the basics now, but learning to develop a VR “Game” as a thesis foundation is kinda cool. Sitting in a room at the department, having a fancy pc and a fancy headset at hand, looking at what you’ve created is extremely satisfying and I recommend trying this out if you own a headset your own.
Setting up a game (any game, not only VR) is extremely easy with Unreal Engine and using the blueprints feels like magic ✨
Oh and the most satisfying part: Unreal works with git version history 😌👌🏼
But I believe, rambling about game development and coding to a follower base of writers is confusing more people than I want to 😅
So let’s skip to the next and final topic for today:
Nothing much to say, honestly.
I managed to go from zero pen and paper campaigns to three in like a week 😅
The first is an eldritch horror adventure (for which I made the most useless character possible 😬) in DnD. The campaign is quite okay, but since we are four players to save the world and me playing a very bad paladin build, it makes very…stagnant sessions… Don’t get me wrong, I love the people at the table, but it is most of the time quite exhausting sadly 😬🙈
The second one is a sandbox world in a high fantasy setting in a custom build Rulebook written by my boyfriend years ago (therefore he is my Game Master). This campaign is extremely funny since the party contain only murder hobos and we are actually the evil in this world. We currently try to rob a city 😌 And yes, we are pirates 😌
The third is the same core rules as the second, but the Game master is a friend of my boyfriend and mine. We go basically space hopping, selling wares and I can play a sugar glider 😌

Besides pen and paper campaigns, there isn’t much more to say really. I try to manage my time currently a bit more, to get to all the stuff I want to do. It’s not always easy, but I will get there ☺️
Let me know what’s new in the community and in your lives below in the comments! ☺️
