i liked this ask so much i put it in ms paint and then closed out of it

so ultimately i feel like all the right things were quite obvious to me from the beginning, what i mean is that of all the crops of things that could have felt obvious to me from the beginning, i think i had a good & agreeable one, but my relationship to the quality of “obviousness” was completely mutilated beyond recovery. i have no idea what is fantastic & obvious, fantastic & obscure, banal & obscure, banal & obvious. i have no idea how anyone else is experiencing reality. so then i wasted years going down that psychotic path of ushering yourself along the progressive discovery of awarenesses in yourself that you actually already had & were aware of, the process of installing hundreds of padlocks on yourself all at once & then quickly forgetting on purpose that you did this so that each one you remove feels like personal growth & revelation

but you can never be sure whether you’ve actually gotten that psychotic path over & done with & finally rejoined everyone in reality, or if you’re actually at some Mandelbrot fractal level of incompletion where you’ve neglected to start crawling up a branch of a branch of a branch of a branch of a branch, & anyone worth anything can smell that you are still repressing your full consciousness & have a presence like a dead fish laying pathetically on the ground

here's mickey, goofy, donald, and chip & dale. yeah they turned mickey & friends into anime boys. they're an idol unit or something. they're technically not anime boy versions of the source characters, they have different names. mickey's guy is "Neo Michel". not michael, michel, like he's french. chip & dale are "Ruska Moncrief" and "Ranka Monk", they have different last names, they're not brothers anymore so that they can be yaoibait instead, anyways this post isn't actually about these guys I'm just setting the stage for the actual humanizations I wanted to show you

They also did monsters inc. And. Well it's obvious from the designs who mike and sully are. but you will also notice. the blonde one on the left. with glasses. monsters inc is kind of famously about just the two guys so they didn't really have a lot of other non-villain characters to take anime boys inspiration from, I guess, so, well,
