Still going back and forth on whether or not to color this. Will post sketchbook video of InkTober drawings once I have time to make a proper video!

31 Days of Southern Residents Day 14: J27 Blackberry, an adult male born in 1991.

(If you look in the middle of her belly, just above her pectoral fins you can see the remains of a large blob of white ink my Posca pen decided to drop during inking! I was able to spread it around on what was a latge area, but I can still see it!)

I know I skipped a day but these take a lot of work and I want to do theae animals justice. (I will still make 31 new drawings!)

31 Days of Southern Residents day 8: J16 Slick, an adult female and one of the oldest living members of the Southern Residents with an estimated birth year of 1972. And my favorite orca, I have drawn her so many times and just never been really happy with the result. I think this is the best so far.

31 Days of Southern Residents Day 7: J51 Nova, a young male born in 2015. I added the WIP stages as well, to show how I draw these.

31 days of Southern Residents day 6: K45 Prosper and her mum K20 Spock. Really love this one!

31 days of Southern Residents day 5: L41 Mega, an adult male born in 1977. Mega is a redraw because I wasn’t happy with the first try. And I realized as I was drawing him that he passed away since the first time I drew him in 2017…

31 Days of Southern Residents Day 3: L72 Racer, an adult female born in 1986 and one of my former adoption orca’s! I have drawn Racer before but I was never happy with it. I still don’t know about this one either.

Day 2 of 31 Southern Residents: K35 Sonata, an adult male born in 2002.

This is J46 Star.

These are all five rhino species from our world, had never drawn a Sumatran or Javan rhino before. So that was fun and first time using the Sailor Fude pen and I’m in love!

Swim free, beautiful girl. At least your suffering is over.

I’ll get into posting here again, for now here’s my last drawing. K36 Yoda, my current adoption orca!
