NO DON'T WORRY... sorry i am literally so bad at associating songs with characters i'm probably the worst person to ask for this so i cannot give you 10 unfortunately. here's a few however

- Kiss Me, Son Of God by They Might Be Giants. THE Adrian song for me i think

- Kidnapping An Heiress by Black Box Recorder. this song does not have much in the way of lyrics that actually relate to Adrian but i have associated him with it since first listening to it after reading Watchmen

- A Mask Of My Own Face by Lemon Demon. i think a lot about Adrian's relationship with his own identity and how his self-obsession manifests not as a fixation on himself as Adrian Veidt, but rather on the concept of Ozymandias. anyway here's a song that reminds me of that

- Man-Made Object by Lemon Demon. yes two Lemon Demon songs sorry. this one is easy to connect with Adrian i think. "i have a vision of a man-made object / i have the money, i have the means / i have the strangest dreams"...

- Lifeless by Stolen Babies. this one is more difficult to explain why i associate it with Adrian but if you get it you get it

I miss when ads were a single click and then they’re gone. Now every ad has a minimum of three phases where you watch a video, exit the still frame of fake gameplay, and then exit the app download. That doesn’t even touch on the ones that forcibly take you to another app after opening a tab in safari without you ever touching the screen.

I hate advertising. I hate that you can’t do anything without companies jumping down your throat with mostly bullshit ads. I hate that billboards exist. I hate that every company unanimously decided to make their ads longer and longer. I hate that ad blockers try to charge you money and there are in app purchases to remove ads. I hate that my attention has become commodified. I hate that there’s nothing I can do about it.

No seriously it happens TWICE in Watchmen and I honestly really do believe that some of the criticism of Moore's work when it comes to women characters is valid to some degree.

Janey Slater grasps the daunting realization that her fiance/lover can see the goddamn future and her reaction is to have sex with him. (Told through Jon's prediction that he would 'make love to her' afterwards)

Then there's Laurie. She LITERALLY saw the aftermath of what was basically a bombing and the emotional toll of her whole entire conversation with Manhattan and her solution is to have sex with Dan.

I don't even know what was even the point of that part in the story??? It just feels off narrative wise??? Like I can get Janey a bit...but Laurie's part??? I understand it's probably like a commentary on how people would ignore the terrible to focus on themselves first but like COME ON

"crochet can't be made by machines" went from being a cool fun fact to being a call to action of "so if you see mass manufactured crochet in Target, that was made by a person and they were underpaid and you should boycott it" which is true, it was made by a person, but EVERY item of clothing you own (that you did not purchase from a company using ethical labor) was made by a person being underpaid (at *best*.)

Sewing machines are operated by *people*. Knitting machines are operated by *people*. Yes lots of the process is automated but you cannot tell a machine "make me a t-shirt" or "make me a knit cardigan".

Higher awareness of fast fashion, and the true human labor and abuse behind it, is GREAT, but let's not pretend that the crochet hat in target is THE problem. Every article of clothing in target is the problem. "All clothes are made by people" is the jumping off point here into understanding this issue it's not just crochet it's the whole thing ahhhhHHHHHHHHHH
