My name is Orion, but I don’t mind being called Optimus either. He/Him only.
I’m largely pretty inactive since I’ve never really been someone who posts like that, but every like century I come back from the dead and post something stupid before leaving again.
In case anyone seeing this couldn’t tell, Transformers is my top fandom and Optimus is my favorite character. I’m into other stuff too though like demon slayer, fnaf, Undertale, Deltarune, and kinda wings of fire. I haven’t read all of the books yet.
My favorite transformers shows are TFP, TFA, and TFE (only season 1) atm😼 I’ve also seen some of armada and beast wars and they’re really good
I do in fact draw, just not a whole lot, so when I start posting my OC stuff (which I do plan on doing) it’s mostly going to be gacha. I’ll probably post random art occasionally, but again I’ll mostly be posting that stuff using gacha life because it’s an app I generally just enjoy using or straight text posts to ramble.
I write oneshots!! I never post them anywhere but I potentially could. They’re mostly about my ocs tho

I wish it was considered okay to growl at people. going "grrrr" is a lot easier and way more straightforward than "please don't do this, I'm uncomfortable." that's a full sentence. I'm probably annoyed, scared, or overstimulated. I'm not saying all that. grrr.
Absolutely! I wish growling was acceptable also so I can give a small redirection growl when around other people. Someone’s too close to me? Why have a whole interaction with them when I can just make a noise that conveys “I’m not mad but don’t do that right now”

is this safe?
the files are all directly downloaded from this site, so there's no third party to worry about. i didn't make this site - it was created by PotentialAd943 on reddit, who claims they scanned their files clean before hosting. just to be sure, i scanned my pc after downloading too. it all came up clean! but it's good to be aware of pc safety, especially when pirating. it can't hurt to do a scan of your own to be sure!
how much pc knowledge do i need for this?
you should know how to download files, how to make and manage folders in file explorer, and how to navigate a program's settings menu.
any settings i should change in ryujinx?
here's some i recommend checking before starting the game:
for tomodachi life specifically, make sure you set a timezone in settings! you can have it match your pc's time for simplicity.
there are ostensibly keyboard controls, but they're a little wonky to figure out. if you can, plugging in any controller should work just fine. just make sure to select it in ryujinx's input settings! (you should also still be able to use your mouse for things like drawing facepaint!)
graphics settings will be on a per-pc basis, depending on your pc's strength. it's worth it to experiment with them and see what gives you the best performance. ryujinx will explain what each setting does if you hover over it!
the game crashed?
that's very likely to happen! on first time loading a scene, the emulator can sometimes struggle. it happened to me the first time i opened the mii editor, and the first time i opened the news station. you should be able to relaunch and everything will be fine. if it's happening super frequently, though, you may need to adjust your graphics or cpu settings!

You are fucking spineless if you cannot let go of Harry Potter, yes it is that serious.
If you cannot put the safety and happiness of real life trans people over your enjoyment of a fictional wizard, then you cannot call yourself an ally. Even pirating the series, even buying merch second hand, even denouncing JK Rowling, even if you headcanon every single one of her characters as transgender, you cannot separate the series from the harm it has done.
Rowling will not see your "every Harry Potter character is trans!" Post. You are not 'owning' her. You know who will see those posts? Trans people. Trans people who will now know that you put your enjoyment of a children's book over their lives.
It is this serious when trans people are losing their rights because of the money put into Rowling's pockets, the money she made from Harry Potter.
I fully support the idea of being critical of the media you consume, and in some cases you can separate the art from the artist. That works for people like H P Lovecraft, who is dead, and Nintendo, who, despite their racism, are not using their money to eradicate Arabs.
It doesn't matter if it shaped your childhood, it doesn't matter if you pirate or hate watch the new series. You need to move on. Read another book, maybe even a book written for adults this time.

Some people in the alterhuman community need to stop invalidating otherlinks/copinglinks/funlinks etc. The amount of times Ive been told "you're not actually your linktype" or "otherlinks can't ___" is insane. I am actually my linktype, even if it was formed voluntarily. We are just as valid as the rest of you, and it hurts that a lot of people don't know about us.
Remember, everyones experiences are different, you're still valid.
