Doing my quite a few times yearly rewatch of Minecraft Diaries and Aphmau's relationships with the female members of the cast are so overlooked in this fandom. MCD Aphmau is a girls girl to her core.

Also, all of the female characters are the ones playing the politics game and have an awareness of the world and their place that the male characters don't. While a lot of the men have some form of magic to give them internal struggle, amny of the female characters have great storyline regarding being trapped in their position. From Kiki to Nicole to Katelyn to Michi. All have story lines of having to make the system work for them.

#this is articulated so beautifully #definitely one of the reasons I like MCD #female characters are consistently given a lot of agency and plot relevance #and you’re so right in that Aphmau as a character is so actively supportive of and loving towards the women in her life
